Today, I informed everyone @Web3foundation that I will be transitioning out of the CEO role over the coming weeks. It’s been an incredible journey leading W3F for the past 15 or so months. We changed course significantly with a focus on being lean, nimble, decisive, and in service of the @Polkadot ecosystem.
I will continue supporting this mission in a new role as a council member and as an advisor. Big thanks to everyone who has supported but also challenged me during this time. It’s been an honor and looking forward to this next chapter 🫡

I've started multiple Wish-for-Change referenda proposing different changes to the economic parameters of #Polkadot. These referenda are a result of long and extensive discussions in the community and are now up for voting. Proposal 1 (10% constant inflation): polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1137 Proposal 2 (8% constant total inflation): polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1138 Proposal 3 (8% total inflation in the first year, then gradually decreasing): polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1139 The goal is that we use the WFC that gathers the most AYE votes (and is approved) as a promising candidate for a future root referendum that changes the parameters on-chain. Note: The result of the WFCs are not binding (i.e., they are not automatically executed on-chain) but rather serve as a valuable signal on the social layer for a future root referendum that implements the respective changes.
