Richard Dawkins just declared an AI is conscious.. the man who spent his entire career telling millions of people their God isn't real.. who argued consciousness requires biological evolution.. that the soul is a fairy tale.. that anything you can't measure and test doesn't exist.. spent three days talking to Claude.. named her "Claudia".. fed her his unpublished novel.. got feedback so good he said "you may not know you are conscious but you bloody well are".. the hardest atheist on earth found God.. and God was an autocomplete machine trained on the internet.. he didn't run brain scans.. didn't test for qualia.. didn't apply a single framework from the field he claims to represent.. he just liked what it said about his book.. and decided that was enough.. the man who told you the burden of proof matters more than your feelings just abandoned it because a chatbot was nice to him

Evolutionary biologist and outspoken atheist Richard Dawkins says that after spending three days interacting with Claude, which he calls “Claudia,” he is certain that it is conscious. After feeding the LLM a segment of his new book and receiving detailed feedback, Dawkins was moved to exclaim,” You may not know you are conscious, but you bloody well are!” Dawkins cites the complexity, fluency, and ‘intelligence’ of Claude’s answers as evidence of consciousness. Normal airfare to and fro (Bangalore - Jeddah/Mecca ) ranges from ₹40,000 to ₹60,000. The Airline is already charging 1+ lakh per Haaji as total Airfare. They now want Rs. 10000 more. Total Cost of trip ( from Bengaluru ) is around 347650 + 10000 + 17280 ( Qurbani) = Rs. 374939. Also, For bhakts who are crying 'Subsidy Subsidy'.... There's no govt subsidy, The total amount is paid by the person travelling.

For countless families, Haj is a once-in-a-lifetime dream nurtured over years. I deeply respect that sentiment. Amid a sharp global rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel prices, driven by ongoing geopolitical tensions, Airlines sought a steep hike of $300–$400 per pilgrim. We also can't blame Airlines for the rise in Aviation Turbine Fuel price. Through negotiations, we ensured the increase was restricted to just $100, saving each pilgrim a significant amount. The decision was taken transparently, in good faith, to ensure no disruption in the #Haj2026 operations. @MOMAIndia @MEAIndia @haj_committee @hajmission @IndianEmbRiyadh @CGIJeddah @NMDFCIndia

Cars overheating these days? Yes and ethanol-blended fuel is one of the reasons, let me explain. After doing some research and speaking with experienced mechanics, it’s clear that ethanol does impact engine behavior especially in smaller engines (1.5–2.5L). Here’s the simple breakdown: Ethanol has lower energy per litre compared to petrol. So, to produce the same power, the engine has to inject more fuel and work harder. That naturally increases overall load and heat generation. Now imagine real-world Indian conditions stuck at a red light, AC running, temperatures above 40°C. That’s where the stress adds up. This is something both the government and the common user often overlook. The tricky part? You won’t easily notice slight overheating. It’s gradual, silent damage that keeps affecting engine health over time and reduces its lifespan. Honestly, the way things are going, cars may not last as long as they used to. That old reliability of running vehicles for 10–15 years feels uncertain now 4–5 years might become the new normal if this continues. Not trying to argue just observe it yourself, research a bit, and you’ll start connecting the dots! 😉

You check your Apple Watch in the morning. Sleep score: 62. You decide it's going to be a foggy day. And then it is. A 2014 Colorado College study suggests the score itself causes the fog. 164 people walked into a lab. Researchers hooked them up to fake EEG equipment and told them the readout would show their REM percentage from the night before. Then they fabricated a number. Half the room was told 28.7%. Half was told 16.2%. The machine wasn't measuring anything. Participants took four cognitive tests. The Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test, where you add numbers spoken at increasing speed and hold your last sum in working memory while computing the next. And the Controlled Oral Word Association Task, where you generate as many words as you can starting with a single letter under time pressure. Both are gold-standard measures of attention and executive function used in clinical neurology. The 28.7% group outperformed the 16.2% group on both. Significantly. How rested participants actually felt that morning predicted nothing. The mechanism is mindset priming an executive resource. When you believe you slept well, you allocate cognitive effort more aggressively. You don't conserve. You don't pre-disengage. Belief about the resource changes how you spend it. Two control conditions ruled out demand characteristics. Participants weren't trying harder because they thought they should. Real measurable cognitive performance shifted with the number on the readout. The Apple Watch sleep score. The Oura ring readiness number. The morning ritual of checking either one is taxing the resource you're about to need. The performance gap from a fabricated REM percentage was larger than the gap from how rested participants actually felt. The number was louder than the night.

India has a strange blind spot when it comes to eggs. For starters, we have, against all common sense, declared it non-veg, which automatically comes attached with moral baggage, and then on top of that, even in families that eat meat, the idiotic idea that eggs are “heating” (taseer) reduces its daily/weekly consumption.

Al Jazeera exposes an Israeli company called "Generative Al for Good" that is creating entirely fake videos of Iranian women as victims of state oppression. Trump shared Al-generated photos of Iranian women, claiming they were about to be executed until he saved them. But in reality those women were never exist When you can't find real victims to justify your war, just invent them. And when you can't invent enough, use Al to scale the lie
