@ouch28ouch @callitfreefall I can help you with icing. It prevents terribly boring hockey from happening. Without it, a team with a lead is heavily incentivized to keep the puck as far away from their goal as possible (a la PK). it's an umexciting brand of hockey

@callitfreefall Sorry, everybody don't yell at me, but this is me for icing. Okay, the defending team moved the puck to the offensive side too quickly. I get the quick offside calls so goalies and players don't wreck their ankles, but offside is just "🤷♀️" to me

@prometheus8080 @FakeGuentzel59 @KDPomp I think your screen shots show in shot 2 that the puck is further away from the red line of the goalline from shot 1 and then it goes back foreward for shot 3....so the puck went backwards.
Not sure if a puck going parallel is legal or not.

@prometheus8080 @KDPomp The goal line extends beyond the goal. He moves away from the goal. I don't think the puck ever moves away from the goal line.
It's close to parallel at the very second before the shot is taken, but it's close not for certain in my mind.
