LeBron pushed for Demar (who went on to be an MVP canidate) and Rob said no because he didnt want a 3yr contract and wanted a star on a two year. Then they moved to Russ.
LeBron also pushed for Kyrie & Rob said no.
Rob is the one who makes all final decisions and says yes/no.

@PodThorn We are not anwhere near contention and nobody we pick at 6 is realistically gonna be the best player on a championship team. Nobody. So this thought that acuff would require us to change up from our 21 win team formula means nothing.

@NickTuths He closed the window on contention by trading for an Injured Ben Simmons and gets no flak for it. Its unbelievable how much this dude gets a pass. We had a healthy KD and Kyrie in 22 playoffs but because Marks botched rhe Harden trade we had a $150 mill anchor on our team.

Like others said in your post the Nets have been on a continuous loop of build up and tear down for 10 plus years for various reasons. Net fans have been patient and loyal through it all.

@SkyedOKC Because the rockets didnt get LEBRON JAMES WITH ONE OF THE PICKS GENIUS. Yeah they got high picks, were any of the players available at any of those drafts half as good as wemby? No. So its more annoying that spurs got more picks cuz they got the amazing 1 of 1 player first.

This is where you hold Sean Marks’s feet to the fire. The track record of development in Brooklyn is abysmal.
@joetsai1999 Other than DayRon Sharpe and Nic Claxton. Marks has little to show for his tenure. Noah Clowney and Jaylen Wilson have shown little improvement.

This is the part that Brian Lewis and a lot of Nyets fans miss: it’s not just the OKC scouting department! Their development team is their major strength. Lu Dort, undrafted, Wiggins, Ajay, Jaylin & Kenrich, 2nd round picks. The Nyets have developed no players like that.
