🏦 Kleros Treasury and Risk Reports Our primary focus at the Kleros Cooperative is on developing the Kleros protocol and nurturing our ecosystem. However, managing and growing our treasury is also a critical task. It preserves our capital, allowing us to accumulate more resources to achieve our objectives successfully. Starting today, we will start providing monthly Treasury and Risk Reports. Access the reports here: kleros.io/treasury/ Investment Philosophy and Decision-Making Process Our investment philosophy is anchored in an Ethereum-based alignment thesis. We prioritize decisions that not only seek risk-adjusted yields but also contribute significantly to the broader Ethereum ecosystem. What is good for @ethereum is also good for us. We put a strong emphasis on managing risk, and that's why we are also publishing our risk framework. We diversify risk across chains, protocols, and assets to ensure a robust and resilient portfolio. Portfolio Diversification and Support Ethereum Holdings and LSTs: We diversify our Ethereum holdings to include Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) running minority clients (🤝 @staderlabs), promoting network health and decentralization. Working together with leaders in the space to encourage client diversification. We consider these actions reduce risk long-term. Liquidity Provision and Arbitrage Opportunities Liquidity in Correlated Assets: Mitigating impermanent loss with proven protocols and strategies. Some protocols we use for that: @CurveFinance @ConvexFinance @Balancer @AuraFinance @pendle_fi Arbitrage Opportunities: If the risk-adjusted yield of an asset seems promising according to our estimation, we might consider acquiring it priced below their "peg" to benefit from a potential readjustment to their peg value, aiming for substantial annual returns at a perceived lower risk. Operational Tools: Utilizing tools like @ReapGlobal, @RequestFinance and @monerium for operational efficiency. We can keep >95% of our funds are onchain thanks to these tools! Strategic Partnerships and Investments Gnosis Ecosystem: Playing a pivotal role in the @gnosischain ecosystem by running and maintaining validators, optimizing our validator infrastructure for cost efficiency and mitigating correlated failure. We also use @MakerDAO's eDSR on Gnosis. Distributed Validator Technology (DVT): Supporting the Eth Staking ecosystem by allocating funds to pioneering protocols like @divaprotocol_io and leveraging @enzymefinance, promoting client diversification. Stablecoin Partnerships: Partnering with leading stablecoin projects like @MountainUSDM. DeFi Allocations: Strategic allocations in foundational DeFi actors, such as @safe, @CoWSwap, @project_shutter, @API3DAO and more, while advocating for the evolution of their business models. They provide an overview of the portfolio, treasury allocation, and financial evolution of Kleros.
