Saw two adolescent boys absolutely terrorizing a family of geese across a huge public park lawn. No reason. Just for fun. Scaring them. Chasing them. Trying to kick them. I was fifty yards away. “Hey! Leave the geese alone!” Nothing. “Hey!!! Stop chasing the geese!!!” They looked at me and hesitated. Then kept going. I summoned the spirit of every soul brutalized by men and said “LEAVE THE BIRDS ALONE!!!!!!!” The entire waterfront park stopped and the boys RAN to their dad. I am at the point where I have zero embarrassment for calling out men of every age for their actions. Whatever sickness men have, it starts young. It starts taking pleasure in the distress of others. @EruditeTogether I’m pleased you had a good experience. For us at 6 years old they’d already started with gender ideology and racial guilting my child for having the wrong skin colour (white). They can’t be hated enough in my experience.

I am a Christian, and I have two daughters. Both my daughters attend public school. When my daughters were old enough to go to school I felt so much pressure from the Christian culture to homeschool them. I went to public school and had a really good experience, but everyone was treating public school like it was the devils playground. I tried to homeschool my oldest in preschool and I realized how terribly unequipped I was to teach. I didn’t have the discipline, nor the mental capacity to teach from home. I think public school is great. The teachers are all so intentional, the school counselors are lovely, and their principal remembers their names and things about them. We are very involved parents. We go on field trips, take them to school events, and go to all their conferences. Honestly, public school gets way too much hate.

We didn’t know about Cesar at the time. You guys are still supporting Trump, though.

A few thoughts - I covered thousands of non-union farm workers for 15 years, who the UFW was trying to force unionization on. It's been an open secret that Cesar Chavez was a serial womanizer. Dolores Huerta has been a card-carrying UFW zealot and opportunist for decades. If this is true, why didn't she reveal this when Chavez died in 1993, 33 years ago? And wasn't Richard Chavez, Cesar Chavez's brother father of her four children, her long-term partner? The timing is suspect, and that the story was fed to the NYT even more suspect. I smell a big ugly rat. Something isn't as it seems...
