Today marks an important milestone in strengthening partnerships for the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (@ccttfaorg) where on the margins of the 21st @UNIDO General Conference, I had the privilege to sign a Joint Partnership Declaration with Ms. Fatou Haidara @FatouYay, UNIDO Deputy Director General and Special Representative for Africa. This partnership establishes a formal institutional framework to accelerate industrial development, investment mobilization, and co-financing for the Central Corridor Green Economic Development Corridor (GEDC) Initiative, signaling our shift from dialogue to delivery.

In my statement as the outgoing President of the Industrial Development Board I emphasized that UNIDO matters for the achievement of the SDGs, as there is no SDGs without industrialization.UNIDO's contribution is not confined to SDG9 on industry, innovation and infrastructure.

I am calling on industrialized countries to fulfill their commitments to end hunger. This means meeting the 0.7% ODA goal & climate finance commitments, ensuring fair trade & market conditions for developing countries, and debt relief for LDCs. A world without hunger is possible!

Le Mali : Résilience face à l’Adversité et la terreur… Dans le vaste étendue du Sahel, un pays se dresse, fier comme un baobab enraciné profondément dans la terre de ses ancêtres. Le Mali, riche de ses traditions et de sa diversité culturelle, porte en lui les cicatrices des épreuves passées. Mais aujourd’hui, une ombre menaçante tente de voiler la lumière de son avenir : le terrorisme, une horreur personnifiée. Chaque attaque ne fait qu’intensifier la douleur, une preuve vivante de la barbarie humaine et de notre ignorance collective. Nos villages souffrent, nos familles pleurent, et pourtant, l’esprit du Mali ne se brise pas. Au contraire, il renaît comme le phœnix. Là, nous sommes les descendants de Soundjata KEITA. Les forces armées du Mali, constituées des fils et des filles de cette terre noble, ne restent pas immobiles. Elles se lèvent, avec courage et détermination, pour protéger le cœur du pays. Chaque soldat est un gardien de l’histoire et un joueur clé dans la symphonie de la paix. Lorsqu'un ennemi frappe, nous avons le droit et le devoir de riposter. C’est un appel à la défense, à la préservation de notre essence même. Ensemble, Unis pour le Mali : Aujourd'hui, aux côtés de nos soldats, c’est ensemble que nous devons nous tenir. Chaque geste compte, chaque voix résonne. Soutenons ceux qui protègent notre liberté avec honneur.
