@tomdelonge That's a problem with our modern take on leadership, and it's why "leaders" of so many organizations get in a spiral of lying and coverup. Admitting you DON'T KNOW (if that's true) is not poor leadership, and a "plan" can be as simple as continuing to study the situation.

I agree, but, like any other emergency, leadership needs to figure out what the hell is going on before they run out and say something that is wrong, or that they don’t have a plan to deal with it. That’s my take… but I do agree. And others agree now is that time.

'It must be a conspiracy and he was tipped off! Right!?' No. Virginia's state FOIA has an average response time of 5 days or less state-wide, as of data current April 2023. Mr. Klippenstein's response time from the Loudon County Sheriff's Office to his FOIA request? 5 days. This isn't a conspiracy. This is normal. Don't exchange one now disproven conspiracy theory for another. You're making yourselves, and others, look really bad.

Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the majority leader, is pushing legislation to create a commission with broad authority to declassify government documents about U.F.O.s and extraterrestrial matters Would love to see some new documents if they shed light on this mystery. But this may not have anything to do with extraterrestrials. Non-human does not necessarily mean extraterrestrial. The measure offers the possibility of pushing back against the conspiracy theories that surround discussions of U.F.O.s and fears that the government is hiding critical information from the public Those big, bad conspiracy theories and fears! If only new, credible witnesses would come forward to back up that endless speculation. The Grusch mention must be coming! The new legislation is modeled on the commission that oversaw the release of information about John F. Kennedy’s assassination We're still waiting for more JFK documents to be released. Under Mr. Schumer’s legislation, the president could decide to delay material the commission has chosen to release based on national security concerns. But the measure would establish a timetable to release documents and codify the presumption that the material should be public. Let's just hope the timetable is set to resolve before we're all dead, and that @NicoleSakach's statement that we're doing this for our kid's kids doesn't turn out to be accurate. 😩 Government officials have repeatedly said they do not have the remains of a crashed alien spacecraft or any manufactured material of extraterrestrial origins. Those assertions have been challenged by some former officials who believe the government is not divulging all that it knows. Here comes the mention of Grusch!!! Nope. The legislation would likely force more details of the government’s study of unknown materials to be released, but it also gives the federal government the power to claim any crashed spaceships in private or corporate hands, however unlikely that such things exist. I would love to see how they plan to force a corporation (like Lockheed) to give up any non-human craft they may have in their possession. Last year, I heard that one corporation saw the writing on the wall and was hoping to wash its hands of a craft they were holding. Let's hope that's true.
