Also, distributions are taxed, and at higher rates than individuals. Similarly, U.S. trusts have much lower bracket thresholds.

@ThePosieParker No it isn't. It's comical how quick people are to call someone (Gary) who has an economics degree and masters degree in the subject, economically illiterate. He is the exact opposite, his point is that placing wealth in a trust to receive a lower tax burden on income is unfair.
