@HedgeFundFomo You handle other people's money? You say something like this with no fact. Your customers need to reevaluate doing business with you. You're a thief.

@gharri69 @Wiz_Weekly I rather have Caleb Wilson who can be a rebounder, a shot blocker and can switch to smaller, quicker players.

@paydayfantasy @Hoopss You can’t give away your own first round pick in consecutive years, can you? The trade really does not work for Blazers. Too much young talent being given away for someone who will turn 32 later this year, especially one with only 1 year left in his contract.

The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to emerge as a prime trade suitor for Giannis Antetokounmpo, per @JakeLFischer “When it comes to Dundon's first NBA offseason in charge, I've heard from multiple league sources that the Blazers are expected to emerge as a prime trade suitor for Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo.” (Via substack.com/redirect/2/eyJ…)

@Wiz_Weekly Come on man, shot selection is a lame excuse not to draft a 20 year old. Improving shot selection is a relatively easy thing to get better at when you are in an NBA system and you are not the number 1 option. But Wagler will never, ever have MB burst, quickness, shiftiness.

@Fernandoml128 I trust Wagler more as a decision maker both as a passer and shooter (Mikel’s shot selection can be rough) plus I trust Wagler to stay healthy, the back injury worries me But I have Mikel at 6 so I like him a lot too

I have Wagler pretty firmly locked into 5 on my board. Awesome player. Not sure if this is a crazy take but I would have had Wagler at 3 in last year’s class. That’s how good I think he is.

The Spurs represent all that is right with pro hoops. Smaller basketball market, well run organization, rabid fandom, born thru the ABA with a rebel’s spirit. It’s one of the honors of my life to have been an original member of the San Antonio Spurs!! Por vida

BREAKING: A DC pollster just texted me “it’s over” after Donald Trump’s speech today where he called “affordability” a “line of bullshit.” There is not one Republican lawmaker who is up in 2028 that didn’t just shit their pants. He just gave Democrats the perfect ad.

Gilbert Arenas thinks Adam Silver will rig the draft for the Heat to get a top 3 pick and draft Cam Boozer: “Nobody is paying attention to the reality that is out there. The All Star was coming off the bench. Mr 83 hit his booty and can’t walk no more. Now y’all get a lottery pick. What is Miami? A big city. They will get a top 3 pick. Where does Boozer live? Miami. Y’all better stop playing with the business of basketball” ADAM SILVER YOU OWE US THIS ONE 😭

@MichaelAArouet The mafia in the south of Italy made investment and progress impossible in the 20th century when most big businesss was being set up. Companies then chose instead to set up their business in the North.

Each time I travel to Italy, I wonder about the massive economic gap. Why is the North one of the wealthiest areas in Europe, while the South remains so extremely poor? Isn’t it the same country, with the same language, culture, taxes, and laws? Can someone please explain?

@trecet Me parece bien. El salto de junior a profesional en España es muy difícil. Tener la oportunidad de jugar y entrenar 4 años con buenos jugadores mientras recibes una buena educación es fantástico. Y si eres lo suficientemente bueno, puedes pasar a profesional en España.

@FanbrizioRomero You can’t put number 2 someone who dominated a sport that is played competitively by less than 0.00000001% of worlds population. And two footballers in the top 25 is a joke. Only Americans can create a list so flawed and out of touch with what really happens in the world

@no_filter_sport @Hoopss Come on man. Magic Johnson: 85% free throw percentage for his career. 84% on playoffs. Ben Simmons 59% FT% on regular season. 52% on playoffs. If they played with same ball they play today, Magic Johnson would be shooting 37%+ from 3 in this era.

@Wiz_Weekly I like this idea and it certainly doesn’t make it worse, because nothing can be worse that the shitshow we had this season. The bad to mid teams like the Bulls, Bucks or Grizzlies need a top 4 pick as much as the Wizards or Kings.

@bgtennisnation @NBA @SharkoTennis Can’t agree. Playoff is the best part of NBA basketball. Why shorten it? BO7 is an incentive to give the low seeded team at least 2 home games, which is a good thing. Just shorten the regular season to 58 games (home and away against each team) and a proper mid season tournament.

Max @NBA playoffs should be in 1st rd is BO5 way back in the day 1st rd was B03, also think 🤔 2nd rd should be be B05, then semis and finals B07 , that would shorten playoffs at least a few weeks. That definitely 💯 needs to be done ✔️ @SharkoTennis

Jaden Hardy quietly impressed after joining the Wizards at the trade deadline: 12.6 PPG 44.3% FG 42.0% 3PT (!) Hardy, who’s only 23 and under contract for $6M in 2026-27, could serve as a useful rotational piece next season.
