FCC Chair: Trump is winning. Look at the results—PBS and NPR defunded. Joy Reid, Sleepy-Eyed Chuck Todd, Jim Acosta, John Dickerson are gone. Colbert is leaving. CBS is under new ownership, and soon enough CNN will have new ownership as well.

I've ardently defended Erika Kirk from the ostensibly serious podcasters & media stars defaming her and baselessly implicating her in crimes.
But my feelings about the comedian Druski's mockery of Erika Kirk are more complex.
For years, I, and many others on the Right, defended edgy and wildly offensive comedy, like mocking trans people and even joking about horrible things like domestic violence, the Holocaust, and AIDS.
How can anyone on the Right really argue, in that context, that a comedian mocking a widow is somehow beyond the pale... without being totally hypocritical?

Utah somehow managed to end up with a Republican Senator even worse than Mitt Romney. Through all of Romney's faults, he was at least always opposed to amnesty— even at the end of his time in the Senate. His replacement is now standing with Adam Schiff supporting it.

When courts stopped POTUS from withholding money from states with fraudulent programs I offered this amendment to the bill that funds the programs.
Speaker Johnson would not allow it to get a vote. The uniparty then funded the programs with zero reform.

Trump should declare the Senate is in recess by demanding they assemble a quorum tomorrow; when they don't, make the recess appointments and let the Senate sue to stop them.

The Senate left but it's not in recess. Thune is denying Trump the ability to make recess appointments via these tricky games. Trump isn't talking about this. Maybe he doens't understand? JD was in the Senate and could explain this. Why it's not a bigger deal is a mystery to me.
