@MostlyPeaceful I switched after 30 years of loyalty to USAA also. Took my banking, credit cards and home loans to NavyFed so far very happy with them.
@IvanAvinaSanch1@SouthwestAir Maybe it's my algorithm, or maybe it's an accurate representation of current customer sentiment, but recent comments directed toward SWA are OVERWHELMINGLY negative, and canned responses are the norm.
I have been an A-list preferred member with a companion pass for 6 years running at @SouthwestAir. I get the changes, I understand the importance given financial pressures. However, Southwest is losing their “Heart” mentality when it comes to how customers are treated. For example, I tried booking a flight with my companion, we got seats together at no cost, I tried purchased my 2 year old child a ticket as well. Called the dedicated help line for preferred members and I was told I needed to pay $80 dollars plus per leg to have my child seat with me and my wife. In what world does that make sense? He is a 2 year old child. I am his dad and have a list preferred status. This is not the southwest world. I think the flight attendants must be under heavy pressure, because they have been sticklers with the whole seat policy. Where is the southwest LUV? I am seriously rethinking just matching my status and going to Delta, Southwest lacks in worldwide reach heavily. But I stayed loyal because I like this company a lot, even with coach seats, comfort + at delta is better than “premiere” seats in Southwest. And they have first class upgrades.
Financial pressures are one thing. Alienating longtime Southwest customers is just plain bad business.
Ooof. I think I’m officially done with @SouthwestAir - tell me why you charge me $75 for a priority seat and that doesn’t come with priority boarding, so now my bag doesn’t get on the plane and I’m all the way up front. Clown show.

I was actually AT THE AIRPORT when the @SouthwestAir flight changed back to it’s original time.
The mananager came by & “exercised her authority” and told me that this was part of their new policy/changes.
