It actually makes sense for utility-focused NFTs to dominate the next chapter because, if we're being honest, IP-focused NFTs have been a big disappointment over the past few years. There's been little to no alignment between NFT holders and the projects themselves (with very few exceptions). Retail has shown little interest in buying in. And the benefits of holding, if any, often just amount to giving you the opportunity to spend even more money

Sad to say - I'm no longer working at @RemixGG_ We were bringing in thousands of new users a day, but retention and monetization hadn't caught up to acquisition, and when churn outpaces payback, every marketing dollar gets more expensive. Because of that, it's the right business decision for Remix to pull back on marketing spend and refocus on the core product. That's the unglamorous truth about growth roles: marketing can't outrun unit economics. I'd rather work somewhere that makes the disciplined call than one that burns cash to protect headcount... even when I'm the headcount. I'm still rooting hard for Remix. Thank you to @0xChuckstock and @BLACKST0CK who believed in my talent enough to recruit me last year, it’s been a ton of fun working on such an innovative gaming product. As for me: no time off After acquiring 7 billion views on youtube and bringing a million users to Remix, I’m launching a new company focused on performance marketing. My thesis is simple - the premiums that performance marketing agencies charge is absurd given how much can be automated now, and I have my eyes set on disrupting that. If you or someone you know is trying to scale a product right now and needs more marketing ammunition, send them my way.
