“No criminal fault” different from no fault. If you are civilly liable for her death then you carried at least some fault for the accident, even if it was only partial fault instead of 100% liability.
If you end up in a skid and a crash occurs because you cross into someone’s lane and T-bone them, you are at fault for the accident. You are responsible for handling your own vehicle and ensuring you maintain control as to not end up in a skid or hydroplane etc.
