Now this picture is actually physically impossible to capture at 18,000 mph. This requires an open shutter which with any movement or disturbance will mess up the entire image. No getting past this. This is a test of our intelligence. All the stars should be streaking similar to a normal timelapse taken of Polaris in the opposite direction the “space craft” is moving.

@Only9built Very sensitive to colour, and imo look best on 599 challenge wheels. I had a manual one for a while and it made a truly epic European road trip companion. Loved it to bits actually.

@Proper_Memes They made a typo in my daughters date of birth which means she can’t log in via gov gateway. Because it has to be done online she can’t file a tax return or claim her Lisa money. She was told it will be 84 weeks to fix it. So no grant and no tax returns for 2 financial yrs.

Quite remarkable by the HMRC. In October 2025 I noticed there was gap in my NI contributions for 22/23, which I pay myself as I run my own business. I called the HMRC, waited for ages and eventually got to someone (clearly working from home; bad line, background noise) who said that my payment is seen but it needs to allocated towards my account. I had done the payments exactly the same way years before and after 22/23, yet that year was not allocated towards my account? She said she'll 'push it' to my account now. I asked how long it will take and when can I see it on my records. She she said a few months. I was flabbergasted: months. I checked my records again this week. The gap was still there. I called HMRC again. This time I got through pretty quickly and talked someone who seemed very professional and efficient. He put me on hold for a bit and then got back to me. "I'm going to be honest with you. I can see that your contribution is on the queue and it needs to be allocated to your account by a case worker. The current queue is 52 weeks, so since you initiated the check in October, task would be completed by October 2026." Unbelievable. I follow the rules, I file my taxes on time, do everything by the book, yet the system doesn't work on the HMRC end and it'll take a year to remedy a simple error, yet if I miss my deadline, I'll get fined immediately. The tax processes need to streamlined, the tax code needs to massively simplified and HMRC needs to work for the people, not against them. @RupertLowe10

@2147mill Their customer service is garbage. You're fine if everything goes well, but the minute you need help they are useless.

To people that rave about Revolut - why is it so good? I’ve ever used it

@n3c8 @2147mill They randomly froze my account and it took 3 weeks to regain access to my funds. The staff reviewing the proof of funds were not sufficiently qualified to assess the information I sent them. No appeal process or way to escalate.

@AutoPap I once casually mentioned that my solar panels weren’t very good. That certainly was an eye opener!

@LUDENClassics Couldn’t agree more. I don’t understand why but apart from the aesthetics, it makes the car feel so much more delicate and nimble.

I'm really not a fan of aftermarket steering wheels, and especially non airbag wheels in airbag cars. But... this may be the most perfect steering wheel I've ever used. Momo really knocked it out of the park with this one. So simple, no buttons, round, rim not too thick. It needs nothing else.
