The vast majority who "buy" babies through surrogacy are straight couples or rich single women.
And the vast majority of men who molest are straight.
There are ethical quandaries and abuses with surrogacy, but fixating on a tiny number of cases -- ignoring most -- is bizarre.

This is no different than any of the other purchases of children by homosexual men condemned by conservatives who stand for the natural rights of children. I don’t care that Guy Benson is a conservative on policy in other respects. I don’t care that Benson is a Fox News contributor. I don’t care that I’ve agreed with him on other issues. This is morally wrong, unnatural, and horrific. We should not allow the commodification of babies, period. This is intentionally depriving this little girl of her mother.

The US State Department has linked the National Lawyer’s Guild (NLG), Antifa’s legal arm, to terrorism networks tied to Cuba.
The Cuban regime has spent decades cultivating leftist American revolutionaries, according to the report.
The State Dept. has accused the NLG of facilitating political terrorism, calling out their roles defending Antifa, BLM, and Weather Underground.
The NLG’s “legal observers” can be seen at Antifa direct actions wearing their green uniforms, and documenting who gets arrested. They then work to immediately bail militants out of jail and provide them legal aid/services.

@tadgh_dc Well, nothing is free market if we think about it, always some gov. regulations, but in US you also dont have a single gov. provider, you got options. Point still stands, gov. cant cap the price so market dictates it, reason why you all in this situation in the first place.

@cremieuxrecueil If the debate was whether or not we should tear down existing data centers due to water usage, you would have a point. The debate is whether we should build 100x+ the data centers. Just because the current usage is manageable does not mean the proposed usage will be.

When the strong claim is debunked based on existing data, they don't update.
They move to saying that their claim remains true going forward, which is conveniently the time in which we don't have data, we just have anecdotes that they substitute for hard data.

There's a nasty rhetorical trick activists love to use
They appeal to a concrete notion of 'data' until they're debunked (see: 'data centers use all the water!'), then they fall back to a vague notion of 'evidence' that can't be falsified (see: 'they might not have but do now!')
