My resolution to fully investigate Metro Corrections passed unanimously. It is time to get a full public account of what is going on at Corrections and how we can improve things. All citizens deserve safety INCLUDING those in custody.

In addition to a lack of pay raises & inadequate staff levels, the end of employee pensions in 2013 is a big contributor to this problem. Pensions were a tool to help retain people for careers in public service, but without them more frustrated employees leave after a few years.

We Will #NeverForget – Police Officer Christopher Amoroso, 29, made numerous trips into the WTC. This is the last photo taken before he went back into the tower to rescue more people. Officer Amoroso died when the second tower collapsed. He left behind a wife and a newborn.

Cameron Baker made an honorary FOP member by the @FopState. His brother, Weston, was presented the "I've got your 6" award.

FBI Louisville and @ATFLouisville announce a combine $50,000 reward for the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible for the heinous murder of JCSO Deputy Brandon Shirley.
