@conservmillen I think you’d have to be pretty willfully ignorant to think that. He’s surrounded by enough alleged Christians, even if he isn’t really one, to know what was being depicted there.

I do believe that he didn’t think of this as a depiction of Jesus when posting. Still, there has to be more care and discernment here.

@michaelbd Well…the cartels are satanic in nature (big into Santa Muerte and things like that) and the Devil loves disorder. I don’t think there’s much more rationale than that (and to remind the government that they’re incapable of actually eradicating the problem).

My sister woke up every morning at 5:45 to watch The Lion King. From 1996 to the early 2000’s, I’d come downstairs for breakfast and she’d be locked in, singing Hakuna Matata like her life depended on it

i know so many parents whose kids watch Frozen or some other movie literally every day, for months at a time feels like this was not a thing among kids in the 90s obviously pressing 'play' is so easy, but rewinding a VCR isn't hard either what explains?

Our brothers and sisters in Christ are being slaughtered in Nigeria. Just yesterday, another 15 were murdered by the Fulani.
The local pastor warned Nigerian officials ahead of the attack. Instead of protecting Christians, the Nigerian government chose to accuse the pastor of spreading lies.

This is not at all the first time that early, credible warnings from Christian villagers have been totally ignored in Nigeria. Has happened for years in the Middle Belt. And the failure to respond very often leads to these horrible tragedies.
