Many of my friends (and former colleagues) in the senate are against eliminating the filibuster because they don't think the Democrats will do it. This is just obviously wrong. The reason the filibuster exists is because of democratic senators Manchin and Sinema. Both of them had their careers destroyed by the far left for protecting the filibuster, and you better believe every senate Democrat internalized that lesson.

The same elections departments that counted these results in 2024 are counting ballots now. Why are all those counties red? Because Republicans turned out and voted, and made it too big to rig. We did not do the same in 2025.

I want to thank everyone who has reached out about my plans for next year in the wake of Prop. 50. While I will be running for reelection to the House, it's going to take time to figure out in which of the newly drawn districts. My current district has been chopped into six different pieces, creating an agonizing choice I never thought I'd have to make, as there is no way I can continue to represent all or even most of my constituents. The good news is I will remain the Representative for the existing Third District until my current term expires. That means I will have the honor to serve all of my constituents until January of 2027. And that will be my priority: to represent the amazing communities that elected me last year, and to continue fighting to restore common sense in California. I expect the decision as to the 2026 election will be something that percolates in the back of my mind in the weeks ahead as I have conversations with people throughout my district. I welcome everyone's feedback as to what is the best course. *I'll note that the success of a federal legal challenge, or the passage of my legislation to bar mid-decade redistricting, would preserve the existing map and obviate this dilemma.

Your estimates for percentage turnout for Republicans is almost identical to percentage turnout for Democrats. (both are under 50%) Secretary of State has not published final tallies and votes are still being counted apparently. I still see no evidence of low Republican turn out for a Proposition election.

We are here today only by the grace of God. If we do not eliminate the senate filibuster then it’s over for the United States of America. What good has ever come out of the filibuster rule? IMO it only paralyzes government, harms the citizens and blatantly enables corruption in our elected officials.

2020 was rigged. The entire World would be in better shape than it currently is if the Dem didn’t rig 2020. Hundreds of hours watching all the data techs and Chinese ballots along with the stolen ballots and machine rigging. Trump won by a long shot and the world will see it soon enough. Undeniable proof and an overturned election that allows for absolutely every move made between 2020-2024 to be overturned too.
