@AndyJudge I don’t know which it is tbh. If Moyes wants defensive full backs then presume he wants to add goals and assists somewhere else ?

@Fplsteffeneffen I have read it as profit, so apologies if I’m wrong. But Moyes doesn’t seem to want attacking FB’s. All the links seem to be defensive ones

Asset value is around £9m (remember amortisation is capped at 5 yrs) despite the 7 year contract. Any fee is likely to be higher than £10m unless they want to dump his wages.
Telegraph Football@TeleFootball

Everton have targeted Aaron Wan-Bissaka in a £10m deal as clubs circle around West Ham following their relegation from the Premier League. West Ham need to raise around £150m in player sales to balance the books, with relegation alone costing the club £100m. @mcgrathmike has the full story ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/sport/2026/05/…

@AndyJudge They need to raise 150 revenue or 150 of profit ? He’s a right footed mykolenko and Evertonians would have you believe he should go for free. Ultimately he’s worth what someone will pay. £20m be madness

@Fplsteffeneffen West Ham need to raise £150m, so casting a player off for a £1m asset gain is a drop in the ocean. He’s a solid RB so with 5 yrs on his contract. He’s should easily be £20m + , it would be silly for West Ham to sell soo cheaply

Jordan Pickford left Sunderland 9 years ago to join Everton thinking he was escaping mediocrity. Since then Sunderland have had back to back relegations, rebuilt the club, got promoted back to the Championship, won the play-offs to get back to the Premier League and qualified for Europe at the first attempt. Everton have spent most of that time flirting with relegation, getting points deductions and acting like finishing 14th is a successful season. He genuinely would’ve had a more successful career if he’d just stayed at Sunderland. That is peak Everton.

Obviously won’t sign all of them but the current transfer links suggest it’s Moyes who needs to show ambition rather signing any of the following; Trippier (36 in sept), Soucek (31), Stones (32+4 prem starts this season), Ben White (28). That’s not ambition.
Joe Thomas@joe_thomas18

David Moyes wants Everton’s owners to show ambition in the transfer market this summer, to back work to find the missing piece(s) to push club on: “I want them to come out and show: ‘We're here, we're going again, we're supporting you.’” liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…

@Sean_Lunt Everton have won 15 trophies during its whole existence. You’re not failing. It’s just who yous are. Had 2-3 decent seasons in the 80s. Nothing much before and literally 1 trophy since. It’s just who yous are wether you like it or not it’s time yous understand that.

There seems to be a growing sense among Everton fans that they're being shortchanged, and that's growing when they see clubs like Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton qualifying for Europe and Crystal Palace in a European final. It's proof it can be done, and Everton are failing.

Everton’s 22 players used this season is not only the fewest of any Premier League team this season, it’s actually the joint-fewest #EFC have ever used in a single Premier League campaign. Also used 22 in 1993-94 and 2004-05.

@Fplsteffeneffen @EvertonNewsFeed Everton have given four different players their Premier League debut for the club on the final day of the season. Isaac Price (May 2022) Jonjoe Kenny (May 2016) Lacina Traoré (May 2014) (his first and only PL app for #EFC) @Dannycadz (May 1997)
