Giving evidence yesterday to the @SP_FinancePAC committee, Shona Robison came close to admitting that she has set public spending on an unsustainable path. She does appear to acknowledge that a great many chickens will come home to roost in the next parliament.

The fact that the Scottish Information Commissioner has taken the SNP government to court over its failure to release documents about the ethics investigation into Nicola Sturgeon is an extraordinary condemnation of the devious behaviour of the Scottish government. Walked wee Luna from @IslayBeachHouse to the Singing Sands in the rain today, her longest walk yet. Did very well coming back to the whistle despite temptation to chase the goats she’s sniffing ⬇️. Very satisfying & a reminder of how a 🦮 gets you oot the hoose in all weather!

@DelSenato @IngrameThomas Went through Edinburgh Airport yesterday / it was shambolic, to put it mildly! An American tourist commented to me on passing that he had been through several third world Airports which were better than Edinburgh!!! I found myself making excuses for it!

@IngrameThomas They’re only interested in Edinburgh. The decline in Glasgow airport and the rise of Edinburgh airport shows that.

So in the SNP /Green rush to zero emissions they apparently forgot about Scotlands main transport hub Glasgow airport , you need to travel by car ffs and not electric train , tram or electric powered underground why ? On 17 September 2009 the rail link was cancelled as part of public spending cuts. In 2014, proposals were in place to resurrect the project dependent on the outcome of the Scottish independence referendum. In October 2016, plans were resurrected to build a railway link to Glasgow Airport. Still no where to be seen .🙄

@ruth_wishart @BBCr4today It totally wasn’t a high quality cruise ship - it was a ferry with small very basic cabins!

Immigration minister Robert Jenrick suggested on @BBCr4today that Scotland had used similar craft to the infamous barge to house Ukranian refugees. Wrong. They used a high quality cruise ship until other homes were found.

Didn’t last long - the Finlaggan broke down tonight and all Islay fuming. 1800 sailing cancelled, people stranded & more cancellations tomorrow screwing up islanders’ holiday plans. Back to the chaos that is now the norm. #ferryfiasco #
