@ZackR1999 @JarradBruessel Kane is currently tied for 177th in goals. There are literally 200+ NHL/AHL players capable of scoring 15 goals playing top 6 minutes & every PP. VERY easily replaced by any decent prospect or mid level free agent.

@JarradBruessel @FrankMurphyIDP You are absolutely fooling yourself if you think any of those guys would get even close to 60 points this season or in most of their cases, ever. MBN is the only one in your list that could do in down the road, but still probably not even next season.

The problem with moving on from Kane is that the Red Wings have absolutely no one to make up for his offense. The better solution would be to get someone who can fill his role on the 2nd line and move him to the 3rd line and put him in the Vanek specialty, role #lgrw
