@RomanCabanac This obsession with personalities misses the point. Coalition politics is about representation of voters, not ego battles. If parties align, it’s because of shared priorities, not “vindictiveness.” The real focus should be what kind of governance Johannesburg needs.

🇳🇦 BREAKING: Namibia just paid off its entire IMF debt. Zero balance. $23.8 million repaid. No new loans. No new conditions. Freedom.
While other nations drown in IMF austerity, Namibia walked out. No more structural adjustment. No more neoliberal lectures. No more foreign control over economic policy.
This is what sovereignty looks like. Paying your debts. Refusing new ones. Charting your own path.
Namibia is free. Other African nations should take notes.
Question for the timeline: Which African country should be next to tell the IMF goodbye?

@Its_ereko @WillSmithSpeak @ArtCrunchy Independance without wisdom is more dangerous than non independance. To drive corruption clever peoole are sidelined is the ANC strategy. Namibia is really run well now.
English

@WillSmithSpeak @ArtCrunchy Independence won’t be given, it must be taken either by force or by wisdom ✊🏿

I'd love to know who Microsoft's BEE partners are in this investment....
Vincent Magwenya 🇿🇦@SpokespersonRSA
While others continue to lie and spread disinformation. Real businesses are investing.
English

@RomanCabanac Where did he double down on BEE? To double down means to reaffirm a position already held. The DA has always emphatically opposed BEE, since it was first introduced.

@MbalulaFikile Tell @GodongwanaEnoch he can recover that R6 billion loss easily by adding that R3 cut to the price of alcohol.
English

We welcome the ANC led governments intervention with regards to the rising fuel costs because of the war in the Middle East. By cutting the fuel levy by R3 it will buffer the citizens from rising fuel and food prices. This is what a government that cares and is responsive to the needs of the people does. We welcome this swift response.

@MbalulaFikile What we want to know is how much are we going to pay per fuel per litre tomorrow don't tell us about R3

English

The ANC welcomes the R3.00 per litre fuel levy reduction on petrol and diesel as promised by the President, cushioning South Africans from rising global energy costs and easing pressure on the cost of living.

@CyrilRamaphosa You destroyed the lives of a generation. Black and white. The hope we had. Nelson would not be happy. Roelf warned you. Arrogance formed you.

@bonganidhl4955 @EddieDeepfield @RyanCoetzee Why worry about them just vote ANC. Tired of racial politics. Vote DA if you want progress or keep up with your current party.
English

@EddieDeepfield @RyanCoetzee 16% white people in the Western Cape results in more than 60% of white candidates but 38% of the population and you cannot find a single black person?
The DA is so lucky because there are so many gullible black people in the country.
English

I notice some are calling for the DA to focus on winning the support of black South Africans, and others are calling for the DA to focus on winning the support of Afrikaners. But the DA must be the party for all South Africans, because every South African is of equal worth, and because no one will succeed unless everyone has a place and a future in our country. That has always been the position of the DA and, given what every candidate for leadership is saying, it remains the position of the DA.

Many ppl don't know what they're talking about. Here's the breakdown, I've seen this often. I shop these items.
Company HQ marks item to $0.01 & sends to all store servers, alerting staff to IMMEDIATELY remove it from shelves w/ real-time notices. But employees ignore the alerts (busy, lazy, can't find item, etc.).
Not the buyer's problem. Store HQ will always honor the price if bought before removal. Stores & most GMs know this. Once paid, under shopkeeper's rules, item is yours, protected by 4th Amendment (persons, papers, effects).
Buyer did nothing wrong. The Corporation knows it. If you do it too often, usually the store might sometimes trespass you. Store can't detain you, seize item, or call police and accuse you of theft.
You simply exploited the system by getting to it 1st. Now, if they get to you BEFORE you check out, that’s a different story. The item still belongs to them. They can seize it and prevent you from buying it. Under no circumstances, can you be detained by the store. The police can only detain you if the store gives them a false report of theft. As in this video, once the police officer investigated, he let them go. Because he knows he has to.
English

Paying a penny!
These lucky Home Depot shoppers got an item for 1 penny ($0.01).
The police were called for theft because Home Depot is saying it was an error and the customers were trying to leave. But where did they break any laws they paid? If it rings up that way, don’t they have to honor it?!

@Dispatch_DD Posts are like we are glad 6900 of our people were killed and only 12 whites it proves there is no white genocide.
