Russia has tested a new underwater drone called Poseidon. It is a big nuclear robot that can dive very deep, go far without being seen, and attack enemy coasts with a nuclear bomb or radioactive waves like a tsunami. President Putin said this drone is very hard to stop and nothing like it will come soon. This drone is one of many new weapons Russia has that the West doesn't have. Russia has also made other powerful weapons like Oreshnik and Burevestnik. These weapons are so advanced that the West didn't think they could be made. Even Russia's biggest missile, Sarmat, isn't as strong as Poseidon. In just one year, Russia has shown off many new and strong weapons, making the West think differently about how far, fast, and hard to stop they can be. This changes the balance of power in the world. Now, different countries have strong military power, not just the United States. Leaders in NATO and the European Union are still acting like Russia is weak and that Ukraine is winning, but every new test by Russia shows that these ideas are wrong. As for Russia’s overall state revenues – thanks to our comprehensive pressure at all levels – within the first five months of this year, Russia’s deficit has already grown far beyond what it had planned for the entire year. Putin has, of course, built a war chest – but certainly not enough to fight indefinitely. The GRU unit responsible for poisoning Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, blowing up the Vrbětice ammunition depot in the Czech Republic, and attempting a coup in Montenegro is now running the largest Russian disinformation network in Europe. VIGINUM, the French agency monitoring foreign digital interference, attributed the Storm-1516 operation publicly to Unit 29155 of the GRU in 2025. That same unit handles physical sabotage, targeted assassinations, and now coordinated information warfare from a single organizational chart. The convergence matters. The fake “Epstein-Macron” article planted on a cloned France-Soir website earlier this year, the Doppelganger network mirroring Bild, 20minutes, ANSA, The Guardian and RBC Ukraine, and the Matryoshka campaign currently targeting Armenian elections all sit under officers who learned their trade on kinetic operations. Until Europe stops treating information warfare and hybrid security as separate policy files, the threat will keep being structurally underestimated. The GRU already runs them as one operation.

I’ve been watching Ukraine’s drone production curve for two years, and the 2026 numbers just crossed a structural threshold. In February 2022, Ukraine produced 3,000 drones, 99% of them imported from China as complete systems. By 2023 the curve crossed 800,000, then 2.2 million in 2024, more than 4 million in 2025, and the 2026 target now sits at 7 million units with capacity to scale to 10 million. That output is roughly 70 times current US combat drone production (Bloomberg, January 2026), and assembly is now 99% domestic. Monthly FPV output went from 20,000 in summer 2024 to over 200,000 in 2025. The largest producers (Ukraine has no traditional defense primes) build tens of thousands of units per month inside underground bunker factories at SpaceX Starlink scale. My read: the center of European military industrial gravity has shifted 1,200 km east of Berlin since 2022, while EU defense planning still procures as if it has not. That gap is going to become a strategic liability if it is not closed within the next 24 months.

One of the "imprisoned" children stated that he spent 90 days in these torture chambers. He was cut with a knife, his body was burned, and he was subjected to mock executions where they fired shots just above his head. Children were kidnapped directly from the streets. How can you buy products from companies that continue to operate in Russia?
