🔴 @AndyBurnhamGM on BBC today: “I think Britain has been on the wrong path for 40 years.” 👍 It started with de-industrialisation, bus deregulation, and the privatisation of life’s essentials. 👏 We need to… get the basics back under public control so that people can afford their rent, their energy bills, etc. 🙌 He wants Labour to “change and once again [be] the party that people in this borough knew… I don’t blame anybody who has gone away and voted for other parties. I want them to regain their trust… I want Labour solidly to become a working class community.”

The students at your favorite elite uni use AI to do the homework, the teachers wrote it with AI and will score with AI also. Those same schools market their historically built prestige globally so that international students can exploit the immigration system. The work you do at every level is taken by the same uni at a 40% cut. They hire international marketing teams to feed you that lie. Exploit the system. Go straight to the workforce. Mine Bittensor.

Flushing It@flushingitgolf·
Bryson DeChambeau has been the face of LIV Golf since joining in 2022. He regularly faces media and has been the most outspoken player in regard to how much he believes in the product. Now with reports that the PIF are cutting funding at the end of the 2026 season, how committed is he? Speaking to Flushing It Golf after LIV Golf Mexico City, Bryson said: “There's a lot of moving parts like in any business. It’s a startup, right? And so there's going to be times where we're squeezed and punched. This is one of those moments. But I'm going to do everything in my power to make it work and I really see the value in franchise golf. “And, you know, another reason why I'm doing this is not just for myself and the team aspect that I really believe in on the Crushers side. It's for Michael LaSasso. It's for Caleb Surratt. It's for Josele Ballester. It's for David Puig. “Jon, Phil, DJ, myself and the guys that have been here from the start, we’re okay. It’s now our responsibility to take care of these kids that believe in us. That’s why I'm really doing it. There's so much value to squeeze out of this whole thing for golf in general.” LIV Golf has been well funded since inception. Spending enormous amounts of money to sign players to upfront contracts, hosting lavish parties, having massive build outs and offering the largest event to event purses in the sport. But now the blank cheques are coming to an end, things clearly need to change. After reaching out directly to officials familiar with this aspect of the league, they insist they are focused on securing more income and funding, rather than cuts, and appear bullish with how that is trending. League sources say they’ve doubled revenue in 2025 from the previous year and have added more than $100 million already in the 2026 season through the first 5 events. 10 franchises will be profitable, as well as 4 events, and their ticket sales are up over 130% year over year. CEO Scott O’Neil said on last week’s broadcast, “we have never been in a better position.” If outside investment comes in, particularly to the franchises, as a byproduct it will help address the obvious issue of having one owner for all of the teams. The competitive aspect of the league has been flawed since the start, with more focus on building brands than the actual performances on the golf course. Results will suddenly matter more than they ever have. “I think that’s the best part of it,” Bryson said. “In my opinion, it’s not just some gimmick, it’s like, okay, we’re here to be competitive.” No matter how much the revenue increases, a sports league is not sustainable without star players. Bryson DeChambeau is the definition of that. With his current contract up at the end of this year, how are his negotiations going for a renewal? “We're still working on a potential contract. I haven’t given up on that and I think there will be a solution. But as of right now, my job is to help make the league work after this year. I just feel like I have a responsibility. I've put a lot of effort into it. So that’s what I’m going to do, we’re going to make this work.” When asked what happens if they can’t make it work, he doubled down: “As long as LIV is here, I would figure out a way for it to make sense.” There’s been much speculation about Bryson DeChambeau’s future over the last few months, and now you have it from the man himself. Pay attention to those who widely shared “reports” of Bryson looking for options outside of LIV Golf but don’t aggregate these quotes. They are not trustworthy news sources. @brysondech @Crushers_GC @livgolf_league

You go to work for 40 years (I'm currently at 42). You’re forced into auto‑enrolment. You play by the rules, you save into a pension on the promise it’s yours. Then Labour strolls in, waves through a law that lets ministers tell your scheme where to gamble those savings – not for your benefit, but to prop up their economic “strategy” and vanity infrastructure schemes that the market won’t fund. This isn’t prudence. It isn’t “modernisation”. It is a straightforward transfer of control from the saver to the state. Hands off our pensions. Share this before they pretend nobody noticed.

We'll keep fighting this power grab. And if Labour continue to force it through, when we get into government we will repeal it. This is a classic case of a Labour government thinking they know better than markets do. They're putting people's retirement incomes at risk. (7/7)

Why did we choose Bittensor (even though we are still next to be deregistered) - LC started mining subnet 44 in 2025, she brought in her former colleague and they started initially as a subnet mining co - because you literally can’t do this anywhere else: computer vision to predict soccer matches on @webuildscore (yes it’s called soccer) - competitive genomic testing with @metanova_labs (probably one of the most important subnets for humanity) Basically bootstrap a crazy idea that would otherwise require $$ but instead use @opentensor protocol to pit researchers against each other to earn rewards - using their hardware and brain power in the process Yes there’s economics that aren’t fully explained at launch and politics etc But the miners, validators and the whole process of sending and receiving solutions for data problems is fully hosted on the protocol. It’s decentralized and operating on its own, we literally can’t turn off the subnet (we tried) What we built here was a cognition architecture and began fully testing this before it goes live. We couldn’t have done this anywhere else, because now we see where the improvements are. We wouldn’t have been able to find this on a closed server. Are we glad we launched with TAO? It’s been unimaginably challenging testing everything and more that we didn’t expect. Would we do it again? I think we are already planning on it.

Let’s see who agrees with me on drilling in the North Sea: Rachel Reeves ✅ The GMB Union ✅ RenewableUK ✅ Tony Blair ✅ Octopus Energy ✅ Great British Energy ✅ But not the Energy Secretary Ed Miliband ❌ Keir Starmer…? I sense a U-turn (unless Ed Miliband is really running the govt!)

Now chancellor @RachelReevesMP agrees drilling in North Sea would generate tax revenue. So sack @Ed_Miliband the Cabinet eco fanatic & get on with it

Hey Bittensor, We know where we stand on the deregistration list. We know people want a response. We will be at Breakout tomorrow in person to get more people to understand what Loosh is building. In the meantime, we moved fast and executed an OTC deal with a third party to inject additional TAO into the pool at a critical moment. We are grateful to the party involved, who chose to remain anonymous. It has been a hard stretch, but we are still here and still building. We are actively reviewing the subnet incentive mechanism to make it more robust. V2 is already in testing, and our ROS2 roadmap is waiting on that code because it materially improves model output. We have also been in discussion with several high profile robotics companies around a potential pilot. One is currently waiting on benchmarking data. We are evaluating next steps carefully, but every serious path keeps bringing us back to the same place. We believe in Bittensor. We believe in decentralized intelligence. We are still here. We are still building. We are not leaving. Subnet 78

Quasar
Quasar@QuasarModels·
This is Quasar Attention, the mechanism behind the upcoming Quasar models, designed to support context lengths of up to 5 million tokens. Attention has long been a bottleneck for processing extended context. Standard attention mechanisms struggle to scale beyond ~200k tokens in training, creating a ceiling on how much information models can reliably use. One approach to solving this has been linear attention methods, such as gated delta attention (used in Qwen 3.5) or Kimi delta attention. These improve efficiency and allow longer sequences, but introduce trade-offs: instability at extreme lengths, quality degradation, and in practice, they are not strictly linear. Quasar Attention takes a different approach. It uses a continuous-time formulation, implemented as a fully matrix-based system rather than relying on vector-state approximations. In practice, this improves stability, reduces cost, and maintains performance as sequence length increases. In internal stress tests at 50 million tokens, KDA-based approaches begin to lose stability, while Quasar Attention remains stable. This allows performance to hold as sequence length increases, rather than degrading beyond a fixed threshold. On BABILong, a Quasar-based model pretrained on 20B tokens and fine-tuned on 16k sequences was evaluated on contexts ranging from 1 million to 10 million tokens, maintaining consistent performance across that range. By contrast, models using gated delta attention show significant degradation at longer lengths, in some cases dropping to ~10% performance at 10 million tokens. (Note: results are indicative; setups are not directly comparable) On RULER benchmarks, a Quasar-10B model (built on Qwen 3.5 with frozen base weights and Quasar Attention added), pretrained on 200B tokens, achieved 87% at 1 million tokens, outperforming significantly larger baselines, including Qwen3 80B, under the same evaluation conditions. Taken together, this points to a shift in where long-context performance is won or lost: not in model size alone, but in the attention mechanism itself. Quasar Attention represents a step change in long-context modelling, setting a new standard for stability and performance at scale. We thank @TargonCompute for the compute and for being our compute provider and long-term partner in training the upcoming Quasar models Here is the link to our paper 👇

@MaxScore Had a really frustrating game of Padel yesterday. A guy on the other team was the biggest cheater I've seen. Any hard to call shots, he'd always say it was out. I swear he misrepresented the score at least once every 5 minutes and at crucial times too. Total loser. Anyway, driving home, I thought of Manako. How hard would it be to have locally installed Manako on a raspberry pie that was connected to a digital scoreboard and a camera? And the camera/Manako would just watch the game and automatically keep track of the score?
