@AutoInfatuation I quite like pagid and ferodo as well. But the green stuff pads are definitely easier to clean up the wheels. As said in another comment Apec stuff is good for the price. I've fitted them to probably hundreds of cars when I had the workshop with no come backs

@G33PERS I just want some reliable decent ones really. I’ll only be doing about 4500 miles a year in this car so nothing major.

100% need front brake pads for the XF-S, possibly need front discs too but yet to confirm that as they feel ok so far. What brand does everyone recommend now? Always went with Brembo on my Mercedes in the past……

@AutoInfatuation @MattTakeThree Only got the brembo pads as they were about £3 more than the Apec ones. Seemed like a no brainer

@AutoInfatuation @MattTakeThree Despite my other comment. I've hammered Apec stuff on disposable cars over the years and never had issues with them! I got told some brembo stuff is from China now. Pads I had were made in Italy according to the box, they seem OK so far

Bought a new diagnostic tool. All well and good putting the options there but it doesn't actually do what it says it will! See how good the support is before I name and shame though 😂 feel like I should have just got the topdon though 🤦

@Leejay1963 Last one I had they insisted I just had gas and air, despite me saying due to the reasons for the procedure it was going to really hurt me! The nurse apologised afterwards having seen me lying in a puddle of sweat and almost biting the mouthpiece off the gas. Take the sedation!!!

Apparently, I have good pipework according to the endoscopist. And if any of you ever have to have a colonoscopy, I would highly recommend the sedation with the midazolam and fentanyl. It will literally seem like a half-remembered dream you had.

Why are police some of the worst drivers you encounter? Black audi A5 flies up behind me and sits on my back bumper. Few mins later blue lights in the grill and he pulls into a turning. Some properly shit driving!

@shane80941270 I get it in a 23yo range rover! Gave someone a lift the other day, they got in exclaiming how well I must be doing with such an expensive car etc. Had to point out it's probably worth less than half the suzuki they drive 😂

So many haters on here when it comes to cars you drive etc. People drive round in absolute bangers and get comments off haters saying there car is sh*t etc. I drive a Range Rover sport coz I like a bit of comfort after owning an RS3 (in comments) that cost more than the range and still get sh*t from haters telling me I’m trying to look rich 😂 mate it’s a £13k 65 plate get a fu*king grip! Can’t win on here Yer it costs a lot to run in fuel , tax and insurance probably not to far off the cost of leasing a car 🚗 and I don’t need to drive round in a banger and invest the rest you have to also enjoy your life 🤦🏻‍♂️ My previous post didn’t say I’m broke and struggling it was about monthly bills, yes I could cut back if I was desperate for the extra money (which I’m not) but guess what I like to look cool 😎 🖕🏼

So yeah, I'm towing them to the garage that ripped them off for a clutch not too long ago. Clutch on a Scenic cost them £1500!! So probably a brand new DPF this time. Have fun with that bill too! Fuckin idiots!!

Anyway, they didn't follow instructions last time I did a dpf regen, then ignored the car warning them til it literally won't drive! DPF is too full to force a regen.

I friend asked me to pkug their car in as its booked in somewhere today. I told them I thought it was cheeky asking me to reset it so that they could get it somewhere for the main work to be done instead of booking it in with me!

Bugatti owners don't care. Bugatti artificially hold the price high, to protect the brand so that customers buy into the image and perceptions of quality. Bugatti resale values are protected by this. No difference from any other luxury product. Jewellery, or iPhones.

@SteveSkojec As a relatively small guy, I agree 😂 back in my 20s when I was going to clubs, bouncers would just run through people leaving a trail of destruction. I quickly found that a change of stance and a dipped shoulder would stop them in their tracks 😂
