@Notwokenow Thanks for letting everyone know! Keep crapping on people taking a leap of faith! Less of you…

@jeff36779606 Wrong dude. He was D-bag #1 a few years ago. Now he’s seeing the light. You don’t need to be so offended.

@Jason___YYC Yikes! Hate to see what you think of someone non-eloquent and unintelligent. Hate hearing facts much?

@anniedufour99 That’s where the money is coming from we are sending directly out of Canada! Good to know!

@marlene4719 @Mellyfax I was expecting a master negotiator…what happened? There was so much hype about putting Trump in his place. We are still waiting, now impatiently…
English

PM Carney refuses to beg Trump for a trade deal, but he stands ready to resume negotiations when and if Trump ever grows the fuck up.

@Smil3yAngel 😂 Right. Good strategy to keep pushing that narrative. Fool me once…

Watching Carney and Poilievre go at it in Parliament is starting to feel uncomfortable. Not in a dramatic way, just in the way it feels when someone is clearly out of their depth and keeps pressing anyway.
Carney knows the file. When he answers, he answers the actual question. He doesn’t need to perform outrage or repeat a catchphrase three times and call it a rebuttal. He just explains things, clearly, because he understands them.
Poilievre comes in loud and confident, same as always, and that works great on a campaign trail or a Facebook video. But in a room where the other guy actually knows what he’s talking about? The gap shows. Every time.
The frustrating part isn’t even the politics. It’s watching someone confuse intensity for competence and expect nobody to notice the difference. People notice.
This stopped being a left vs right thing a while ago. Now it just looks like one guy who did the reading and one guy who thinks he doesn’t have to.

@MarkJCarney Remember when one of the Liberal MP’s said we should not drive for a holiday to save the environment? 😝 Pretty sure we are paying for your generosity. The sheep love this nonsense.

@JoePompliano @sagesteele Not a bad idea. But you can understand why some guys can be off between the ears when things don’t go their way.

Rory McIlroy is an investor in Whoop, wears one of the company's wristbands while playing, and allows the brand to share his data periodically.
Here are some of his Masters highlights:
• 24,000+ steps on Sunday
• 91,000+ steps during the tournament
Rory's heart rate spiked to 135 BPM during his tee shot on 18, dropped to 121 BPM during his approach shot, fell further to 105 BPM during his winning putt, and then jumped back up to 150 BPM during his celebration.
His resting heart rate for the week was 47-49 BPM.
Rory says he follows a strict routine during the PGA Tour season to ensure proper rest and recovery:
• No caffeine after 2 PM
• Last meal at least 2 hours before bed
• Magnesium and theanine for sleep quality
• Blue-light-blocking glasses in the evening
• Sauana or Epsom salt bath when available
• Cool room temperature for sleep
He follows the same three-hour routine before every round: arrive at the course → warm up in the gym → eat breakfast → hit balls on the range → putting green.
Rory says he believes his focus on longevity will help him play another 10+ years at a high level, and his physiological age on Whoop is now 1.5 years younger than his actual age.
Plus, it turned out to be a pretty good investment.
Rory initially invested in Whoop in 2020 when the company was valued at $1.2 billion. While we don't know exactly how much he invested, Whoop recently raised another round at a $10.1 billion valuation.
That's an 8.4x multiple in five years.
Not bad, not bad.

@flushingitgolf Go away Tom. Listening to that clown Chamblee too much.

Tom Watson had some strong words about the PGA Tour’s decision to immediately re-instate Brooks Koepka’s membership after he left his contract with LIV Golf, and believes Brooks should have played the Korn Ferry Tour for a year to re-qualify.
Speaking ahead of the Masters, Tom said:
“The Tour made a decision to renege on what they promised when the players left for LIV. They felt that the compensation that he's paid is good enough.
“I thought the LIV players, when they left, they were supposed to be banned for life. If I was commissioner, that's what I would do. I'd say if you're finished with your contract with LIV Golf, if you want to play the PGA Tour again, you come back, and you must play the Korn Ferry Tour for a year to qualify for it.
“They saw it differently. When the players left, they violated the number one rule that we really had out here, which is to protect the sponsors. Sponsors need players. They need the names to be able to promote their tournaments. If the players play wherever they want to play without a conflicting event rule, where you had to seek the permission of the PGA Tour to play in a tournament opposite of a PGA Tour tournament, the sponsors would be hurt by that. I think we all understood that.
“When the players left for LIV, I think it was basically over. They chose to go for the money, which is fine, but to return to the Tour, I thought, was a nonstarter, but apparently it's not.”
Brooks was made to make a $5 million donation to charity, is ineligible for the Player Equity Program, is ineligible for payout from the FedEx Cup Bonus Program and is ineligible for sponsors exemptions into Signature Events.

How does someone go from being this animated against the Liberals so recently to crossing the floor and joining them?
Canada Proud@WeAreCanProud
Just happened to be her second last house sitting before crossing the floor. Zero integrity.
English

@PierrePoilievre @dkreative1 It’s wild. Casting a vote is now meaningless. Democracy? Laughable.
English

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals.
In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more.
She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined.
She should honour her word and let voters decide.
English

@JeffreyLuscombe Probably wouldn’t care as much if Libs didn’t spend and give away the taxpayers hard earned money with blatant disregard.
English

Why do Conservatives hate this so much? Anyone?

CBC's reporting is now just intentionally false and misleading
Raffy Boudjiknian asked Pierre Poilievre a question in the scrum today... and later in his CBC explainer instead of showing viewers Poilievre's answer, he said "Now, he said the first thing he would do is get rid of liberal policies on gas taxes."
That's not even close to what Poilievre said. Watch.
What he said is he would "unblock our own energy."
"I would eliminate liberal laws like C-69 that keep oil in the ground."
"I would remove the shipping ban off the northwest coast of BC"
"I'd end the liberal industrial carbon tax."
"I would move to six month permitting."
"And I would make my goal would be to massively increase production and shipping of Canadian oil and gas."
"I'd also bring in an energy and minerals reserve so that when these kinds of crises strike, Canadians can sell our oil on the world market to reduce prices for consumers at the same time as we profit from the high prices that foreign economies are paying."
Raffy has a serious problem with being truthful. This isn't the first time
