Präsident Trump, der vor dem Angriff auf Venezuela nicht einmal den US-Senat informiert hatte, und Wladimir Putin, der in besonders grausamer und blutiger Weise Krieg gegen die Ukraine führt, manifestieren ihre Einflusszonen. Sie treten dabei das Völkerrecht mit Füßen und lassen sich ganz offensichtlich gegenseitig den Raum dafür. Es ist zudem eine Warnung von Trump auch an Dänemark und Grönland, was er bereit ist zu tun, wenn er nicht freiwillig das bekommt, was er haben möchte. Maduro ist ein Diktator und es ist das beste für Venezuela, von diesem Mann befreit zu werden. Diese Befreiung muss jedoch von innen erfolgen - eine Legitimierung der Vorgehensweise der USA beerdigt jegliche Glaubwürdigkeit des Westens. Europa hat keine Minute zu verlieren, endlich eine gemeinsame Außen- und robuste Sicherheitspolitik auf den Weg zu bringen. Jedem Land in Europa muss klar sein: Entweder wir Europäer sitzen mit am weltpolitischen Tisch, oder wir landen auf der Speisekarte.
