Yes, this is true. I have 4 young adult children and a grandchild. I'm doing things for them on a daily basis. Whether it's babysitting, buying them things they can't afford (food), or helping them fix their car or some other thing in their apartments.
Much of the problems my kids are having is because of America being so F'd. Unless we fix these severe social problems, the future will be bleak for them.
They are all afraid to have children. They all have future-phobia and feel hopeless. They don't get that from me. They all wish they could be like their parents who are steady.

A man who confessed to raping and murdering a 9-month-old baby: $100,000.
A man with four separate murder cases across three years: $2,500.
A man arrested on new felony charges while already out on bond for first degree murder: $100,000.
A convicted felon who committed a double murder: $750,000.
Combined prior violent felonies among those defendants: 6. Combined prior felonies of any kind: 11.
Tennessee law requires courts to consider prior criminal record when setting bail. TCA 40-11-118 also prohibits bail from being used as an instrument of oppression.
