Can someone call Tim Hortons? I think we just solved their staffing problem. There are so many able-bodied youth in Alberta actively looking for work right now…standing in lines like this just for a chance. So hey @MarkJCarney, genuine question… Why are we continuing to fund a temporary foreign worker program for minimum wage jobs that our own youth could be working? And not only that…we’re bringing people in and supporting their entire households with taxpayer funded benefits, while the people already here can’t even get their foot in the door. How does that make sense? Because from where I’m standing… it feels like we’re in the negative while overlooking the workforce we already have.
