@mj_crypto16 @gideonrachman Can we have the same for the US cities? Thanks.
English
The murder rate in the U.K. is at a fifty year low. The rate in London is 10% of the murder rate in Chicago or Philadelphia. You have just killed or gravely wounded a million Russian men for nothing. Maybe worry about that?
Kirill Dmitriev@kadmitriev
The US is moving away from what became of the UK model.
English

@mj_crypto16 @gideonrachman It’s the homocide rates that are compared - so they already include manslaughter

English

@gideonrachman When murder is degraded to manslaughter, stats will go down.
Can we have stats for manslaughter please?

And just so happened to be a pap ready… again

🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham spotted on a run near his Cheshire home earlier today
English

@Steveloisda @SlipperyFrog89 @NoContextBrits It’s pretty standard
buggies/strollers and prams/pushchairs
English

@SlipperyFrog89 @NoContextBrits I've literally never heard anyone in the UK use "stroller" rather than "pram".
English

@jbrmcfc @stopthesupermaj @txnxka @PolitlcsUK Good 👍 I hope he continues to be able to find some time to keep himself running.
English

@GS_Currie @stopthesupermaj @txnxka @PolitlcsUK It’s not ai, there’s been police outside his house all week.

@serchbloc @david_m_gilbert @JohnSimpsonNews Argentina claims the islands were inherited from Spain but stolen by British military force in 1833.
English

A lot of people want to bury their heads in the sand about this. It’s going to require careful diplomatic effort by Britain to counter it.
Foreign Policy@ForeignPolicy
The future of British sovereignty over the Falklands is in greater question now than at any time since the end of the war, while Argentina’s claims have become both more persistent and politically unifying, writes Antonio De Loera-Brust. foreignpolicy.com/2026/07/23/fal…
English

@david_m_gilbert @JohnSimpsonNews The UK has run the islands since 1833, and the locals have a right to self-determination. They recently voted 99.8% to stay British, so their democratic choice is seen internationally as a red line.
English

@JohnSimpsonNews Genuine question, what is the British claim to the Falkland Islands?
English

@itsC4RL @NoContextBrits I quite agree. Claridge’s microwaved eggs are to die for.
English

@NoContextBrits People say this isn't cooked enough, but if you order a traditional english breakfast from any of the finest hotels in London they will all be served like this (minus the bean) microwaving the food has long been recognised as the best way to cook a full English.
English

@CountBinface What makes you think climate change is human made?
English

Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface

@stopthesupermaj @txnxka @PolitlcsUK This country is a liberal democracy. I’ll use nano-cubits if I like, but fine - enjoy your miles.
English

@bobbyrob888 @PolitlcsUK Bojo is far more representative of the physical state of the average UK resident - if anything he’s a bit svelte 🤣
English

@bobbyrob888 @PolitlcsUK At least Burnham can blame AI for his running attire 😂
English

@stopthesupermaj @txnxka @PolitlcsUK He lives in Golborne in council of Wigan within Greater Manchester - not Cheshire.
But it’s less than 2km from Cheshire boundary - so likely he’d be spotted there on his runs.
However this whiffs of AI…
English

@txnxka @PolitlcsUK The council of Wigan is not in Cheshire?
