how does Warframe do it

I'm not gonna lie. The last 2 to 2 1/2 months have been mentally taxing on me. Starting with my bother in law killing himself, then going to the ER for random Hives outbreak, then cars tranny went out, then last week my uncle passed away. It's getting harder to smile lately.

@Elissawhichi @rebbford With Marathon, I kind of get why the sentiment is there. Bungie made promises about Destiny they couldn't keep and it felt that they said FU to the Destiny players. Many of the resources they said were supposed to go back went into Marathon. Not saying it's right, just understood

@rebbford its too popular these days where people seem to want to see games fail. its quite sad. I wasnt a huge fan of highguard by any means but the absurd amount of hate it got was mind blowing. we'll never know if it could have been huge cause the internet was hawkeyeing playercount

When Warframe released we had 435 other titles compete with for the attention of millions of steam users. Now games have 20,014 other games in the same year for many millions of steam users that have already been exposed to 80,000+ prior releases they might have liked.

@rebbford You guys also did something a lot of devs weren't/aren't willing to do and that's listen to fans and put a good game out first. It feels like you want to share your art and that leads to $. Rather than squeeze every $ out of players.

We got incredibly lucky. We were broke. There were less than 500 other games released the year Warframe released. Every day people care about Warframe is a gift and we’re only as good as our last update.

@DNVR_Avalanche Are you trying to make him look bad or good? I'm confused about this. He's a D-man that is meant to put pressure on the other team, which stats shows he's been good at. Even if he's not a top 4, he provides good depth, which is needed. They have enough Offensive D-men.

@pokedaxi The open world shiny rate was pretty good. Felt like all week the shiny odds in raids were not boosted. I also have a love hate with the Super mega raids. Don't feel much different than normal. In person link energy is good, but feels like money grab for remote raids. Mixed feels
