@GovRonDeSantis Data centers don't use water resources. Fabs do. Huge difference. Data centers use water line your car's radiator, constantly circulating for cooling purposes.

Today in Lakeland, I signed legislation to protect our citizens and communities from hyperscale data centers. SB 484: ✔️ Ensures that local governments maintain the authority to reject data center development in their communities ✔️ Prevents data center costs from being passed on to consumers, including electricity costs ✔️ Protects Florida’s water resources from data center consumption
These are much-needed protections for taxpayers and our natural resources.

@lthlnkso @PeterSweden7 Probably because it's so dangerous. It's probably less difficult to cultivate and weaponize than we'd expect. Preparing and defending against AI-enabled bad actors is why these public/private partnerships exist

@PeterSweden7 Wow, I wonder why Korea would work with Moderna on a vaccine for a virus that affects hundreds of people per year?

SURPRISE. Guess who began working on an mRNA Hantavirus vaccine back in 2024? Moderna did. In collaboration with Korea University College of Medicine.

@Pro__Trading I agree w/you on Rubio's appeal, but Vance doesn't get enough credit. Vance's absence from the public eye compared to others in the administration is by design. He'll come across sane, articulate, measured and focused - everything Trump is frequently not. Voters will eat it up.

I am becoming of the opinion that Marco Rubio would be harder for the Democrats to beat in 2028 than Jd Vance. I like both men and I will vote for whoever wins the primary. But, Rubio's combination of experience and respectability makes him a very hard target for the Democrats. There's almost no opposition research that would work against Rubio. Most attacks would bounce right off him.

@PiersUncensored @piersmorgan @megynkelly "Disaster" is a bit hyperbolic. It's arguable that it's been a net positive for the president. It's hurt him among those in the middle and among lower income voters impacted most by rising gas prices. History will show this to have been the best outcome of many bad options

Here are three things that will happen: 1. DOJ will lose the Comey case. 2. In the next Administration, Comey will get a big monetary settlement for selective prosecution. 3. After this Administration ends, @DAGToddBlanche will get disbarred. 86 47

AG Todd Blanche tells Kristen Welker that individuals selling 86 merchandise or posting messages similar to Comey’s seashell post will not be prosecuted: “Of course not. That’s posted constantly. That phrase is used constantly.”

@EWErickson I fly a lot. Mostly for work. Always Delta. Flying on my own dime, it's noticeable that Delta is always more expensive. Living in ATL, you'd think flying Delta would be cheaper. Nope. Never. Delta needs more competition, not less. Is Spirit that? Not really.

@claireforny Low wage jobs aren't usually held by people we'd trust you l handling more than a lunch order. Just admit you're running on the promise of free stuff at the expense of those who have earned it. Clearly you're qualified to be in Congress.

I’m a union organizer, Assemblymember, and democratic socialist running for Congress in NY-07. I came to politics through low-wage jobs and the labor movement. That’s the perspective I’ll bring to Washington to take on oligarchy, fascism, and war—and win for working people.

This is a going to be proven false in short order.. as soon as starlink launches flip to starship, SpaceX will drop F9 prices to ensure maximal utilization of their F9 fleet, infra, and production systems. And they have all the incentive to do so, to undercut New Glenn, Neutron, etc

BREAKING: Eric Romo (@_Eric_Romo), President & COO of Impulse Space (@GoToImpulse) says: "The idea that launch prices are going to fall significantly in the next 5 years is nonsense." "I think there are an awful lot of business models that are predicated on “when Starship allows me to launch for $200 a kilogram…” I think they’re all broken, & all those companies are going to fail." "I think we’ve seen this play out already with Falcon 9 & the pricing around it, where the costs of Falcon 9 allowed SpaceX to deliver the Starlink constellation at a cost per CapEx that made them profitable. But they set the price in the market at something that just barely made it an okay investment to think about OneWeb or Kuiper or anything like that. So they ran that playbook exactly on Falcon 9, & they had their gross margins on Falcon 9—people think we’ll see when the S1 comes out—are like 50% plus. So they could have dropped the price, & they didn’t. They’re going to do the same thing on Starship, because why wouldn’t they? Their internal costs on Starship are going to be whatever they need to be to deploy Starlink & orbital data centers, but they’re going to set the price so that anybody trying to do comms, anybody trying to do orbital data centers—the price is going to be too high. So if you’re a third party relying on them for a lower price of access to space, I think you’re hosed." 00:20 Hot Take Launch Prices 01:41 SpaceX Market Power 02:23 Impulse Space Overview 02:54 Mira For GEO Defense 03:45 Helios Direct To GEO 05:19 Caravan Rideshare To GEO 06:42 Space Economy Reality Check 08:46 Tom Mueller Legends 10:54 SpaceX IPO 13:42 Investor Frenzy & Broomstick 14:05 Alien Eyeballs Outro @elonmusk Recorded at @NYSE x @payloadspace Space Summit

@Kalshi "Space Data Centers" Oh god. This retard really doesn't understand thermodynamics and is gonna waste billions of dollars trying to use the coldness of space as a heatsink. So any layman knows, to cool a data center like this, it'd have to be near the size of a football stadium.

@Radona @SecRollins Ok, they can afford a Tesla lease payment. What about insurance? parking? Charging? Tolls? License (mandatory photo ID)? At the very least, their spending pattern isn't consistent with that of the families the program was intended for.

In just ONE state, 14,000 individuals receiving SNAP benefits were driving LUXURY VEHICLES! 🚗 3 Bentleys 🚗 3 Ferraris 🚗 11 Lamborghinis 🚗 59 Maseratis 🚗 141 Porsches 🚗 244 Alfa Romeos 🚗 306 Land Rovers 🚗 2,098 Teslas And this is just in ONE STATE. We need to defend our nutrition programs for those most in need, not for scammers gaming the system. These individuals are taking advantage of the American taxpayer. And together with @VP’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, this ends NOW. 4.3M Americans have been moved off of SNAP — but more work to be done!
