@AJEnglish I personally like how Iran took Strait of Hormuz as a personal belonging that it is... If they agreed to the stampede, they would have started begging to it by now.

If he had agreed to step down, they wouldn't have bothered to be on his tail, he would have been compensated with another chance to loot more and sabotage the lifes and well-being of millions of citizens... This is our politics, this is how public funds are embezzled to finance luxury lifes... Dear youth, why not stand strong to break this loop.

The story of Abdulsalam Mustapha Kachalla (Bomboy), whose private jet was forfeited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Kachalla, who was the Chairman of the Borno State Rural Electrification Board and a member of the project’s steering committee at the time, allegedly used his position to engage in illicit dealings connected to the Maiduguri Emergency Power Project (MEPP). The Maiduguri Emergency Power Project (MEPP) was initiated by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) to address years of electricity shortages in Borno State following the destruction of power infrastructure by insurgents. The project was expected to improve electricity supply to Maiduguri and surrounding communities, but the reality today tells a different story. He attempted to contest for the House of Representatives in 2023, but the consensus was not in his favour. Now that he has expressed interest in contesting again, the consensus is still not in his favour. However, he insisted that he would not withdraw from the race, and suddenly, the EFCC moved against him. This is our Nigeria today. I am not against his arrest, but why now—because he refused to step down from the race? Meanwhile, someone like Yahaya Bello is still active in the Nigerian political space.

NEW: The clock is still ticking on Iran. President Trump is giving Tehran more time after requests came in from regime officials to delay military action and continue negotiations, but he’s still threatening a massive strike if a deal falls apart. The U.S. is now in what officials are calling a “temporary pause” to see whether diplomacy can still work. Iran says “dialogue does not equal surrender” and is mocking President Trump for repeatedly setting deadlines and then extending them. @TreyYingst reports.

I will begin to say things Kwankwaso will not like — Gov. Yusuf Fires Back at Kwankwaso for calling him a boy Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has launched a fierce response to his former political mentor and ex-governor of the state, Rabiu Kwankwaso, following comments describing him as a “small boy” amid their worsening political fallout. Speaking before supporters in Kano, Yusuf warned Kwankwaso to be mindful of his statements, saying he had remained silent out of respect and loyalty but would no longer tolerate personal att@cks. The governor was reacting to a recent interview in which Kwankwaso, a former leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), accused Yusuf of betrayal and vowed to unseat him in the 2027 governorship election. “How can a 69-year-old man call someone who is 63 a boy?” Yusuf asked. “I tolerated that because of obedience. But if he does not control his words, I will begin to say things he would not like.” Yusuf stressed that while he values peace and stability in Kano State, he would not hesitate to defend himself if further provoked. “I believe peace and stability in Kano are paramount, but if we are pushed too far, we will speak out,” he added.
