I was just replying to someone’s post about Ian Huntley, stating public facts about his crimes, his 2003 suicide attempt, and how he never served his full sentence because inmates killed him. Nothing graphic, nothing promoting violence or self harm just historical discussion of a convicted murderer. So what exactly in that comment violated guidelines? Why remove it and slap me with a warning? To me feels like massive overreach on true crime discussion meanwhile real harmful stuff I’ve seen somehow slides through. Be transparent what was the violation here? #TikTok #Censorship

But you do nothing about the THOUSANDS of stolen TikTok videos posted here. One of mine was stolen, edited to take my watermark off of it and used for over six million views by ONE creator. That's straight up theft. Additionally, reposting VALID content with more information gets you cut in half! That's crazy.

Here is a classic Dom example. I was a small account that did not watermark or even format the meme properly. He takes the meme, crops it and racks up 2.8M views. That meme if shared would have qualified the Department of Distraction account to be monetized and more importantly, pushed farther up the algorithm. Stealing has real impact and sets small accounts back. Hope Nikita can address this issue.

@tomjank @Enderbite The images are moderated anyway so there is no increased brand risk. You could build something mad like a swastika or genitalia out of the 3d star wars assets theyve provided and that would be a brand risk but itd be moderated and the images are no different

Just had confirmation that any images containing provided star wars assets are banned. So no map voting images, loading screens, character pages etc. I was so excited for this IP, then dissapointed, and now completely demoralised trying to work with it.

@misshoneyzinha You can’t copyright a TikTok audio while letting the audio remain up. It’s a part of the agreement TikTok made with the music distributors like two yesss ago. Twitter is entirely separate

so this still being up is a choice

I never had a tik tok because I don't like the platform. But once I started gaining real traction, someone created a tik tok profile pretending to be me and stole my shorts and uploaded them to tik tok. So when I went to upload my content on tik tok I got hit with the unoriginal content flag for every upload. So every video from then on I uploaded to tik tok first. Tried having an attorney file a dmca claim and nothing happened

Someone stole a video off my Instagram and posted it to their TikTok (no credit given btw). I posted the video today on my TikTok, only to be met with "unoriginal content" and "ineligible for recommendation" because this fuckin' guy posted it first. Super cool man 👍

@RandomBookBoi Not really. This was on Twitter which is easy to strike a copyright, even regular people can file it… for Taylor they used her song on tik tok and the only way to get it to stop is to remove the music from Tiktok altogether, obviously no label has or will do that (contracts)

This didn't work. @TeamYouTube your manager in the studio told me that after "thorough review" it was determined that I was in fact violating @YouTube policy by holding a gun while livestreaming and they couldn't give me any more details. I DON'T OWN A GUN.
