To what end? What’s the ROI on that number?
Wouldn’t Kansans benefit from having more say in where their money goes (school vouchers) rather than abiding by the whims of unelected, unaccountable officials?

Today, the Senate adopted a fiscally sound budget that is focused on funding core state responsibilities like education, public safety, and transportation. With over 70% of the budget dedicated to court-mandated funding for K-12 education and human services, senators deserve credit for holding the line on true discretionary spending. Decisions like demanding state agencies root out waste, fraud, and abuse paves the way for a positive fiscal future for our state. As Kansans live within their means, so should the government.

Here's my bet: Heath is sort of "trolling" us. When this podcast drops tomorrow, I bet Heath argues that if Baptists won't defend our Baptist beliefs and systems, we might as well just take "Baptist" out of our name.
This isn't some lib-coded name change ala JD Greear. This is going to be Heath bringing the hammer down on how we are very slowly but very surely ceasing to be a "Baptist" convention.

On January 20, ICE conducted a targeted operation to arrest Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias an illegal alien from Ecuador who was RELEASED into the U.S. by the Biden administration.
As agents approached the driver Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, fled on foot — abandoning his child. For the child’s safety, one of our ICE officers remained with the child while the other officers apprehended Conejo Arias.
