No matter how........ You can't skip these stages. Let us accept change and accept that we are weak and need time to rest and retire from active work. Beyond these ages really the brain is severely declining to the first human stage of babies

Valid point. Oversupply of degrees, undersupply of producers. But solution isn’t just “empower with skills.” It’s “empower to produce.” That’s why we exist. We don’t beg for jobs. We build them. Coffee shops. Agro-processing. One business = 5 jobs. Merit= production.
The Graduate Talk@TheGraduateTalk

@Gboassociation @KagutaMuseveni There's overwhelming supply and less demand. You'll realise jobs aren't given on merit anymore. Graduates need to be empowered to acquire income generating skills. Otherwise the situation is worsening day by day.

@Gboassociation I love your energy. The core issue is mindset first then capital and the capacity to produce for the consumers. Keep it up.

We agree with President @KagutaMuseveni SWASA & psychology won’t end joblessness. Farming, business, tech, manufacturing courses will. Youth, choose courses that help you produce. Degrees must create jobs, not job seekers. Thank you Mr. President for the guidance. 🙏🏾🇺🇬

Museveni: What can you do with a SWASA, psychology and procurement degree? President Museveni has criticised graduates for what he described as “carelessly selected courses” that do not solve Uganda’s unemployment crisis. | Details👇🏽 monitor.co.ug/uganda/news/na…

"Chairman, a country without reserves is not sovereign. The potential of this Bill to destabilize Uganda’s balance of payments is our primary concern as a central bank. For example, last financial year the overall balance of payment surplus was USD 1.5 billion. That’s how we were able to increase our reserve coverage by USD 1.5 billion. Today as we speak our reserves are close to USD 6 billion. Why? Because these inflows have been coming in. The moment you tamper with these inflows here, we risk running down our reserves, and that is economic disaster for a country.” Governor Atingi-Ego on the Protection of Sovereignty Bill 2026 in an appearance before Parliament today.

Doing business in Uganda today is hard. Taxes, Trade Order displacements, high rent. That’s why Genz Business Owners Association exists. We’re proposing policy on: youth production hubs, recovery for displaced young traders, and fast-track UNBS for small makers. Does it answer?

We join you Your Excellency @KagutaMuseveni in thanking God for Gen. @mkainerugaba on his 52 birthday. As young entrepreneurs, we especially appreciate his contribution to fighting corruption in the army. Corruption is the biggest challenge we face in business and job creation.
Yoweri K Museveni@KagutaMuseveni

Greetings fellow Ugandans, fellow Africans and especially, the Bazzukulu.   I am sending out this message to, first of all, thank God for giving Maama and myself our wonderful children: Muhoozi (Muogi), Natasha (Kukuru), Patience (Pusi) and Kyaremeera (Kyinini)., protecting them and prospering them.  Secondly, I want to thank Maama for looking after them especially for the years 1981-86 when she was the only parent near them. Thirdly, I salute the children for going through the school systems and branching out successfully in the different fields of life – family, career, etc. Fourthly, I thank the Ugandans and some of the Africans for standing with and supporting our family and Political movement in the various endeavours we have been undertaking with them. On this occasion, on the 24th of April 2026, I want to congratulate Gen. Muhoozi (Muogi) on this 52nd birthday. These children, in particular Muhoozi, were born in the resistance, grew up in the resistance, and, in various ways, have made significant contribution to the resistance. Gen. Muhoozi has made significant contribution to fighting corruption in the Army and increasing the lethality of the UPDF.

Uganda’s Sovereignty Bill should alarm anyone who cares about basic freedoms. Yes—governments can regulate foreign funding. But under international law, restrictions must be clear, necessary, and proportionate. This bill isn’t. Vague terms like “foreign influence” + sweeping state powers = a blueprint for abuse. The real danger? It doesn’t stop at Uganda’s borders. By targeting diaspora ties, this law risks enabling transnational repression by proxy—silencing critics abroad by putting their families, colleagues, and partners at risk back home. This is how fear travels. We’ve seen this model before—in places like Russia—where “sovereignty” laws became tools to crush dissent and label critics as foreign agents. Uganda must not go down that path. Protecting sovereignty should never mean criminalizing dissent or intimidating voices beyond its borders. @StateDept @UNHumanRights @achpr_cadhp @FranceskAlbs @eu_eeas @hrw @amnesty
