@CrimsonDesert_ Yes there’s things that need to be fixed asap imo, like the controls and lip sync but things like them can easily be sorted in a couple patches.

@CrimsonDesert_ Such a great game! I was very skeptical at first with no base PS5 footage however I’m blown away! People really need to understand what this game is, it’s not a story driven game and never was! It’s a sandbox game!

Crimson Desert has the worst default controls I've ever seen in any game. That being said game was pretty fun so far. I don't really get the massive hate I've seen on this game.

@itmeJP People was expecting a RDR2 / assassins creed story along with the gameplay, this isn’t what that is! This is literally a video game, a sandbox of go do whatever you want! I love it 😁

@RinoTheBouncer Buying! If I wanted a deep deep story driven game then I’d go buy life is strange, they have never once said their focus is about the story! It’s a sandbox game you make your own story at times.

110 hours SO FAR?! Bummer that Crimson Desert seems to fall into the trap of a lot of open-world games, in that it's a jack of all trades but master of none. I'm still looking forward to checking this out on my PC for at least a bit, though, as it's genuinely stunning, visually

@BikeMan Let’s be real, no one plays GTA for the story! You think back in the day people woke up on a Saturday morning thinking “ hmm what happens next with Michael “ no they playing it to drive a car 10000mph off a cliff and try land it on a roof of a building 🤣

Gonna tell you right now I don’t give a shit about Crimson Desert’s story. I play this type of game for the exploration and the finding of secrets. If it has horse breeding, trade runs or any business logistics sim stuff like Black Desert did, that’s bonus cake.

@JakubFlower @GHBSmith And the devs have said that for a while that this game will be a grind so people have to use that information for themselves and not hate on a game because of reviews from people like IGN who are as useful as a chocolate teapot

@GHBSmith This is not an advantage but a disadvantage, people don't have time for something like this, I was tired of Valhalla, it's looks more like a job rather than entertainment.

This is the Crimson Desert map (nearly all of it lol) Blue - Areas I've done 90+% of quests in Orange - Areas I've started quests in Red - Areas I've yet to explore This is after 205 hours. Crimson Desert is one of the biggest games ever made, if not the biggest.

@wesleytypes @NikTek This is just me but majority of the hype was from gamers not from people that probably have to rush through the game to get onto another game to review, lets be real some games that have been given 9/10 10/10 scores are actually boring games (dragon age, BOTW) etc

@NikTek To be clear, I do not think it is trash because of this score. The rub, for me, is that as recently as a few hours ago a large amount of people were convinced this was GOTY material without even having played it. The hype was UNREAL. This is just a reality check.

Why do some people in here think that Crimson Desert having a 77 metacritic score means that it will be a trash game. The times we live in man…

@GeekOutWithDan Exodus will be very choice heavy, yes. Including the fact that time dilation will make it so you literally just have to leave people behind.

First look gameplay for Exodus already looks great and the Bioware DNA is obvious. • Studio head was the lead designer for Dragon Age: Origins and KOTOR • The lead writer for KOTOR, Mass Effect 1, and Mass Effect 2 is on board as well. This is my Mass Effect 5.

Hype around Crimson Desert has gone so far off the rails you’d think that in the future people will talk about the industry as before & after the release of this game. As someone who loves fantasy, action & open world I have not found it very interesting. I want to be wrong.
