Just for the record, this isn't the question. Nobody asks if Israel "has the right to exist," which the PLO agreed to in 1988. The question is if Israel has a right to exist "as a Jewish state" without changing its legal framework of apartheid and Jewish supremacy.

But does Palestine have a right to exist? Because Israel does everything from stopping Palestinians from exercising that right. So shouldn't THAT be the question?" there is no Arab equivalent of Meretz. Ben Gvirism is not even notable in Arab communities because it's just the default opinion. "this land is solely arab, jews should be displaced or live under arab rule, islam should be the state religion" is 100% mainstream.

Besides anything, Israel didn't demand that Jordan, Egypt, or even the UAE recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
That demand is relatively new and is explicitly used only against Palestinians to stall the peace negotiations, *despite* the PLO having recognized Israel as a state.

For my entire life, I have supported Palestinian rights and a two state solution for the Israel-Palestine conflict based on mutual recognition, mutual security, and mutual indigeneity.
Having said that, the level of malicious, ahistorical ignorance of the far left is unimaginable. Although there may be some well-intentioned ignoramuses among them, these ignorant bigots are doing far more harm than good.

Beautiful Danielle Waldman, daughter of Eyal Waldman. She was murdered on October 7th by Hamas terrorists at just 24 years old. May her memory be a blessing.
Prior to October 7th, Eyal opened a design centre in Gaza, donated $360,000 to a hospital there, and created jobs for Palestinians both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. When asked if he regretted this decision after his daughter’s murder, his response was as follows:
‘No, I don't. I think we need to do everything we can to make this place the best place to live in. And we need to stop killing each other and find a way to live together. I have been working for two-and-half decades trying to make peace.’
A tragedy indeed that a man of such profound goodness - whom we all should endeavour to emulate - is treated with such hatred and contempt.
