@McgruffRiley Can’t have both ways. If you don’t want H1Bs working at Micron then double if not triple the state’s investment in higher ed. Simply put there are not enough seats at Idaho’s universities and community colleges to meet our state’s workforce needs.

Over 600 of the 2600 employees at Micron in Boise are H1Bs. When layoffs come (they hit Micron every few years) the first to go are the Idahoans. CEO: Indian. Oh, and they are capped on property tax evaluation....forever. So a hundred million $$ which should have been paid by Micron are instead shifted to actual Idaho residents instead of Micron. As ICE was busy making Idaho safer, employees at gas station in Pocatello were recording/taking photos during a routine transfer of detainees. The employees then refused to serve our officers & verbally trespassed them. /1
