Washington, D.C., could take a page from Idaho’s playbook on achieving a balanced budget. That’s why I have introduced H.R. 4324, the One Subject at a Time Act. This measure would improve the way Congress goes through the legislative process by focusing every bill legislators consider on a single subject, ensuring each topic receives a separate vote—exactly how it is done in Idaho. Effective, transparent, and productive. I will continue to advocate for this legislation to be taken up and passed.

The "why" involves a fundamental understanding and promotion of the Republican (and Biblical) way. Personal accountability Hard work to provide for ones self / family Minimal government Minimal taxes (keep your money to help yourself/others) Medical autonomy / freedom Freebies offered to anyone "in need" tends to create a MUCH bigger group "in need" than simply building a society where people care for each other and build each other up, equipping each other to be hard working members of their community, including caring for others who are truly IN NEED. Keep your money (taxes). Let the private sector handle caring for those in need. It will be far less fraudulent and wasteful. I'll try to write a longer article on this topic later this week.
