Qureate CEO Yuji Usuda, head of the Japanese game company Qureate, recently explained why the studio’s “gentlemen’s games” almost always feature busty female characters. In a interview with Game*Spark, Usuda said that portraying adult women with small or flat chests has become “highly risky” because platforms and reviewers may misinterpret petite body types as underage characters. Even clearly adult characters can create problems for releases on platforms like Steam or Nintendo Switch. He said the studio would like to include more body variety, but avoiding release issues has become a priority. “If we took on risky depictions and ended up blocked from releasing the game at all, it would be pointless,” he explained. Usuda also mentioned that Qureate already has to make platform-specific changes to avoid censorship. In Bunny Garden, for example, facial “lotion” was changed to green slime and milk effects were made invisible in some versions.

Crimson Desert really just continues to impress. I often say a lot of Big Open World Games have worlds that aren’t used or feel alive, this is the exact opposite. The landmass is described as a Continent, as you can see this 1 Map is HUGE. From XboxSeriesX

Seems like Subnautica 2 could have a pretty serious bug. My kid's PC has a 5070 and a Ryzen 9800XD and when playing Subnautica 2, after a while the entire PC will shut off. The problem: It won't turn back on without going into the BiOS and messing with settings each time. It shut down 2 times last night so I told him to not play Subnautica 2 today and sure enough, it hasn't happened.

@DestinLegarie Well I know you can skip the login with run/netplwiz and you can have the xbox app start on startup but not sure about xbox mode.

Can you skip windows sign in and just start Xbox mode in windows 11? I know you can have it start on boot but it’s not quite the same

@IYDKMIGTHTKY86 @InfamousLiberal @Boxenberger @asha_shar @Diablo @XBOX I was talking about the dlc characters, paladin and warlock. I bought the game and dlc on console and tried being tricky by making my character on console and loading them on pc. But they locked them out.

As much as I enjoy Diablo 4 Lords of Hatred, can someone tell me why the DLC (and the previous one) does not support Play Anywhere? Xbox own IP does not support that, I don't understand it... @asha_shar @Diablo @Xbox

@henryblakedev @timsoret Something I've noticed about AI art is that it seems to follow the path of infinite stamina. They will never get tired adding new levels of detail to even the most trivial aspect. Human artists can also but generally don't.

"Xbox One physical discs (XGD4 format) follow the same general principles as Xbox 360 discs: they are mass-produced from masters, so copies from the same production run are functionally identical for authentication purposes."

@Pirat_Nation Does each disk have a unique code attached to it? Something like a unit identifier? Otherwise what would stop someone from sharing disks between friends?

Microsoft is working on a new system called Positron that could let Xbox players turn their physical game discs into digital copies. The idea is simple: you put the disc in your console or drive, the system checks that you own the game, and then it adds a digital version to your Xbox account. Once converted, the game would work with cloud gaming, play on many devices, and fit better with new hardware, while the physical disc would likely stop working afterward to stop people from sharing or selling the same copy. We do not know which games would work, if it costs money, or when it might launch, and Microsoft has not confirmed it, so this is still just a rumor.
