@GenyaGames

I make games... in Godot! Just finished my first game jam ever and did it fully solo with no external assets other than a font. New project quietly underway!

I released Geistfeld (genya-games.itch.io/geistfeld) this weekend for #GodotWildJam 74. It features asynchronous multiplayer and a lot of atmosphere for a 2D game made in 9 days. Give it a shot and tell me what you think!

@reduzio @Andevrs @godotengine I really appreciate your take here. You are supporting individual contributors agency and not trying to control or micro-manage the organization despite the respect and stature you command. That’s a mature and responsible approach.

@FreyaHolmer Bad docs are the rule for real, not the exception. And unfortunately they really make adoption harder :(

any time someone says unity's documentation is bad I wonder what heavenly documentation they've been exposed to prior

@reduzio It's software and web-development related, but Deno's logo conveys this really well: they are approachable, friendly, and inviting. The logo and mascot are nice and simple too, which makes it easy to recognize.

Clickolding is a dark incremental narrative game about tally counters, motels, and uncomfortable vulnerability with people you don't wish to fully know. It is the most necessary, distressing game I've ever directed, and you can wishlist it on Steam today. store.steampowered.com/app/3011440/

What people say when I tell them I make game assets; "Worked on any games I know? Call of Duty?" "I had no idea those had to be created" "My son plays Fork Knife, he'd be thrilled to meet you" "So whenever I see a tree in a game, you made that?"

@CodeRed_dev I think your marketing is actually quite good on twitter, considering you've not spent any money. Most people would not get that many followers so quickly. Also in 2 years time you'll back and give yourself a 3/10 on coding.
