A mature & healthy, well established Acacia in King William Walk is subject to a Conservation Area notice for removal. Its “removal” would result in a clear & permanent loss of local green character. There are better methods than removal.

It’s going to open on Monday and we will all be watching to see how it plays out over the next year. At the very least HGVs should be charged at night, PMs monitored comprehensively (with adjustments to tolls if needed) and the cycling bus should be made more useable.
