Inclusive language is important, especially when speaking about periods. Thinking menstrual health is only a niche topic for woman excludes transgender, non-binary and gender-nonconforming people who have periods from the conversation. #menstrualequity

The idea that it's possible to have a "gender identity" that doesn't match "assigned sex" rests on the assumption that there are mental and behavioral characteristics which are the sole property of one sex. How do people not get this? How do they not see how limiting it is?
