@fatsoenspolitie @thsottiaux Hehe yeah. Linux. Although finding out that remote control does work on Linux via the Cli substantially improved things. x.com/i/status/20577… Today during a hike I got some feedback on an app I'm working on, and I was able to make those changes just by talking to my phone.

@Gerry Running `codex remote-control` should make your Linux and Windows machines available in the ChatGPT app. I use it to connected to my headless homelab vms

A little secret. About 5% of our production traffic is on the Pi harness, about another 5% is on OpenCode. Reminder you can use your ChatGPT account in a flourishing set of other tools. We’ll continue to make Codex awesome, but you have options.

@chamath Why not just capped plans like the rest of us for any employees who tend to use too much.

Microsoft pulling Claude is the first, but not the last. The issue isn't that the tool isn't useful. The issue is that without context and oversight, the tool can spin forever and generates an enormous cost burden that, when cascaded across an entire employee population, makes using the tool economically untenable. 8090's Software Factory is the control plane that is becoming increasingly used by Enterprises to get the job done but do it in a smart and scaleable way.
8090@8090_Factory

Most engineering leaders are past the honeymoon with AI coding IDEs. They see how many tokens their agents burn. The reason is rework. The agent gets a vague prompt and a "make no mistakes" instruction, guesses at an architecture that isn't the one you run, and ships the wrong thing. Then engineers spend round after round correcting it. Rework is what the token bill actually measures. An agent builds correct code when it knows two things: what to build, and what to build it against. Software Factory's modules captures the full business intent and engineering architecture for all operators to reference in a unified multi-player environment, so everyone shares the same context. Then, we pass off the coding tasks to your IDE agent of choice execute against them (Claude, Cursor, Copilot - whatever you prefer). Today, your agents write the code well. The question is what they're writing it against. What is the unified system to reference context your teams are using today?

@levelsio Maybe a system like replies on X. You can't leave a review unless somebody trusted trusts you. And once you turn out to be a scammer that flows up to the person who vouched for you and the lose the ability to recommend others.

✨ Added a review system to Hotelist.com, first just my own reviews, here's my first one I added Then next everyone else But I need a way to avoid fake reviews so I will think long and hard until I open it up for anyone

Requested by @theannalux Value per chain So which hotel chains give you the best bang for your buck 1. Okura, $143 but 7.48 rating 2. Minor, $164 and 7.23 3. Melia, $189 and 7.34 4. Mariott, $191 and 7.06 5. WorldHotels (???), $197 at 7.29 Meanwhile Aman, Bulgari and Dorchester are great hotels but mathematically disputable if they're good value, Hotelist thinks they're the worst value!

@AndrewGinns I think I've figured out `codex remote-control` didn't initially work for me. It only lists sessions that have a name field and won't list those that just have a "preview" name. If I do `/rename <name here>` and then restart server any renamed session starts showing up.

@AndrewGinns This stopped on Linux Codex CLI about 1-2 days ago. - Codex was able to get the session list on my phone by patching the names of the sessions which were null - Then it broke due to a change, but worked after adding a enable request - Now something new broke :(

Anthropic is expanding the conversation around frontier AI by bringing in scholars, philosophers, clergy, and ethicists to examine deeper questions about AI behavior, values, and character. The focus starts with how good character forms, signaling that advanced AI development is not only a technical challenge but also a moral and social one.
Anthropic@AnthropicAI

Over the past few months, we've been holding dialogues with scholars, philosophers, clergy, and ethicists on the questions AI raises—starting with how good character forms. Read more about how we’re widening the conversation on frontier AI: anthropic.com/news/widening-…

The future of physical AI just rolled off the line. Proud to share that XPENG’s first Robotaxi model has started mass production in Guangzhou — just six months after we unveiled the plan at AI Day last November. Powered by 4 in-house developed Turing chips, VLA 2.0 system, and 3,000 TOPS compute, the Robotaxi model built on our 6-seater flagship SUV GX is also China’s first mass-produced Robotaxi featuring pure vision, steer-by-wire chassis, and pre-installed full redundancy. Pilot operations begin in H2 2026. See you on the road.
