BloomFi is building a high-performance decentralized trading platform with spot and perpetual trading, a custom Layer 2 blockchain, and low-latency execution with deep liquidity design. The company aims to compete with leading on-chain trading platforms like Hyperliquid by delivering CEX-level performance on-chain.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Lead the technical vision and architecture of BloomFi
- Oversee development of orderbook/matching engine, perpetual futures system, and Layer 2 blockchain infrastructure
- Ensure low latency, high throughput, and reliability
- Manage and scale the engineering team
- Implement best practices in smart contracts, security and audits, and DevOps and infrastructure
- Work closely with CEO and product team on roadmap execution
🔑 Requirements:
- 7–12+ years experience in software engineering
- Strong background in blockchain development (L1/L2 or rollups), DeFi protocols, and high-performance systems
- Experience building or contributing to DEXs, exchanges, or trading systems
- Deep understanding of Solidity / Rust / Go / TypeScript, smart contract architecture, and on-chain + off-chain hybrid systems
- Experience leading engineering teams
🛠 Nice-to-have:
- Experience with order book-based DEXs (not just AMMs)
- Experience with zero-knowledge rollups / optimistic rollups
- Background in low-latency trading systems (CEX or TradFi)
- Experience handling millions of transactions / high TPS systems
- Prior startup or founder experience
