I am not really a push my religion on people kind of person. I think people know who I am and what I believe, and if you have questions, I hope I can answer them. Today, on GOOD FRIDAY, despite my shortcomings and struggles, despite the mess that I see in the world around me, I am happy to serve a savior who was willing to give his life so I may one day have eternal life, pain-free, worry-free, and wonderful because of nothing I did but all because of what he did for me. He was tortured and beaten and died, BUT HE ROSE AGAIN, and today I serve a RISEN Savior. JESUS CHRIST IS MY LORD, and he died not just for some but for ALL who wish to know him. ❤️

BREAKING: Iran has shot down a US fighter jet according to a source familiar with the incident, and a search and rescue effort is underway to locate two crew, per Axios. Details include: 1. This would be the first time since the beginning of the Iran War that a US jet was downed by Iran 2. Iranian state media published pictures and videos that allegedly show parts of the downed plane and one of the ejection seats 3. Pictures suggest that the downed plane was an F-15E 4. Iran is offing a "valuable reward" for anyone who can capture the downed pilots This is a major escalation if true.

Safeguarding the electoral process to improve oversight and prevent unlawful influence has been a top priority for my administration since my first days in office. Today in The Villages, I signed the election integrity bill HB 991, also known as the Florida SAVE Act. This legislation strengthens the security, transparency, and reliability of Florida’s election system. The Florida SAVE Act builds on our historic successes by requiring the verification of U.S. citizenship for voter registration, updating identification requirements and enforcement tools, and expanding penalties for election-related violations—including foreign interference and petition-related misconduct. In addition, this law brings greater transparency to the candidate qualifying process by requiring all candidates in Florida to disclose dual citizenship and requiring Congressional candidates to disclose stock trading activity.   In Florida, we will always stand up for election integrity and hold accountable the bad actors who would subvert our electoral processes.

Look at the date in this picture… July 25, 2015. This was the post that started it all. But what many people don’t know is that even before this moment, I had a simple prayer… I asked God to use me as His vessel. I didn’t get an answer that day. Not a month later. Not even a year later. It took time. And then one day… this happened. A simple act, pulling over to help someone in need—turned into something I never could have imagined. Looking back now, I’m still amazed at how one moment of obedience turned into a movement that has impacted thousands. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: when you ask God to use you, He will. It just might not happen on your timeline. And during that waiting season, He’s not ignoring you, He’s preparing you. So stay ready. Stay faithful. Because when your moment comes… it can change everything.

Today in Tampa, I signed legislation that will keep Floridians safe by enhancing penalties for violent criminals and sexual offenders. ✔️ HB 445, Missy’s Law, ensures that courts keep dangerous offenders in custody while awaiting sentencing. Child exploitation and pornography offenses are added to the statutory list of dangerous crimes, so individuals arrested for these offenses will no longer be released at their first appearance. ✔️ HB 1159 increases penalties for sexual offenses by increasing mandatory minimum sentences, expanding definitions related to child sexual abuse material, and criminalizing new forms of exploitation, including digitally generated content. These bills protect Florida families, especially children, and hold criminals who harm them accountable.
