New Manuscript from NBRC @PNASNews A new study from the @GhoshRoyLab in PNAS shows that damaged dendrites are not passive victims of injury: they can activate a regenerative branching response, a key event in effective nerve regeneration. Using a rapid injury model in C. elegans, Singh et al. identify a conserved FGFR signalling pathway as a key driver of this repair process. The novel finding shifts attention beyond axons and reveals a distinct molecular route for dendrite regeneration, opening new possibilities for understanding and improving neural repair.
