@LinseyMcgoey I’m so sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. It will be a difficult time, I’m sure, but I hope that you can find some comfort in memories.

I’ll be offline a lot as I mourn the loss of my beautiful Mom who adopted me when I was a week old. I wanted to write a book for her, and maybe one day I’ll write a book about her. Until then, she loved flowers, so I’ll plant a lot this summer, and just hang outside + breathe.

Grief is a sieve: it thins and drains colours and substance. It makes you feel almost ghostly yourself.
